Equipment sourcing questions
Does a directory profile mean the factory has been independently audited?
No. A profile organizes manufacturer documentation and sourced equipment information. Each listing shows its sources and check dates. Ask the manufacturer for any factory audit, certificate or acceptance test you need, and agree the test with your order.
How should I compare throughput between two machines?
Use the same output unit, cell or module format, process recipe and acceptance conditions. Ask whether a number is a design target, a single-station result or a complete-line result. The stringer throughput guide explains which conditions to include in an enquiry.
Why are some specifications missing?
A missing value means the manufacturer has not published it for that listing. Exact specification filters exclude unknown values. Ask the manufacturer for a model-specific specification instead of applying a value from another model or assuming that a series range applies to every configuration.
Does saving a sourcing brief send an email to manufacturers?
No. Saving the brief keeps a draft in the current website session. Sending a sourcing request is a separate account action. Nothing is sent to a manufacturer until you submit the request.
How can a manufacturer correct or claim a profile?
Use the Chinese factory-entry route to apply, or report a correction through the contact form. Submission does not publish the profile or grant company access automatically. Identity review, account access and publication are handled separately.
Can I buy equipment or obtain a confirmed price on this platform?
This site is a directory and enquiry service. It does not sell the listed equipment and does not invent prices or availability. Confirm configuration, scope of supply, delivery, installation and commercial terms directly with the manufacturer.
