Understand what a directory listing tells you.
Information and scope
Manufacturer and equipment information is reviewed separately. Profiles are intended to describe the supplier’s manufacturing scope; product specifications must relate to the named equipment or series.
What a listing shows
Each statement on a listing names the document it comes from and the scope that document covers. A listing describes published manufacturer information; factory audits, product certification and performance guarantees are separate matters to agree with the supplier. A verification badge appears only after the related review is complete, never on application alone.
Model, series and project scope
A named machine model is different from an equipment series or a completed project. A series range describes the family, so confirm the exact combination you need; a project description shows one installation, so agree the result you expect for yours. Missing values remain unspecified and are excluded from exact specification filters.
Updates and corrections
Each sourced profile includes a reference and an update date. Submit a correction with the page URL and the relevant manufacturer document through the contact form. The editorial standards explain authorship and how manufacturer statements are kept apart from PVYard purchasing guidance.
Questions belong in your sourcing brief
Confirm configuration, acceptance criteria, delivery and installation requirements with the manufacturer. Unknown specifications are not used as an exact filter match.
