Company scope
What the company makes
Ningbo Jingxin Electronic Materials (宁波晶鑫电子材料有限公司) makes electronic silver powders. Its homepage describes a business that develops, produces and sells electronic materials and dates the company to October 2000. A January 2025 filing by Ningbo Fuda names the same company, gives October 23, 2000 as its founding date and describes its front-side and rear-side PV silver powders alongside specialty conductive powders. For a solar buyer, Jingxin sits upstream of metallization: it supplies the silver that paste makers formulate. It does not build modules, cells or equipment.
The current catalogue sorts its grades by particle shape: micron flakes, spherical powders, nano powder and single-crystal powder. Spherical grade 516 is shown with a micrograph at 5000× and a 5 µm scale bar, which tells you what the particles look like. Size distribution, purity and lot figures sit in the grade data sheet and certificate, so ask for both with any sample. The detailed grade, low-temperature and contact links on the homepage returned 404 errors, so send grade questions through the sales contacts printed on the homepage itself. Jingxin also mentions university partnerships and 2023 output figures; for your order, ask what capacity and which plant would serve it.
On ownership, Ningbo Fuda announced a plan to buy Jingxin in January 2025 and announced in May 2025 that the deal was off. Jingxin therefore did not change hands through that proposal. A sound first order is one traceable sample of a chosen grade, bought against agreed chemistry, particle shape and processing criteria, followed by a trial in your own paste and cell line. Jingxin sells powder. Paste formulation, fit with TOPCon or HJT cells and any efficiency effect are settled in that trial.

Specifications & selection questions →Powder first, paste second
Jingxin sells the conductive ingredient; your paste formula does the rest
Silver is the conductive phase
In Jingxin's words, the silver supplies the conducting part of a PV paste. Glass frit, binder, organic vehicle, rheology and firing belong to the paste formula, so judge a grade inside the formulation you actually run. [1][3]
Front and rear electrodes
The company supplies powders for both front and rear PV electrodes. The public catalogue lists grades without pairing each one to a cell type or electrode. Tell Jingxin which electrode you are making and ask which grade it recommends. [1][3]
Other electronics markets
Jingxin also sells into semiconductor, capacitor, touch-panel and conductive-adhesive work. Each of those markets sets its own powder requirements. For a solar order, choose the grade on paste and cell results. [1]
Four particle shapes
Pick a particle shape, then ask the grade questions that go with it
| Particle shape | Listed grades | What to request |
|---|---|---|
| Micron flakes | 8C | Size distribution, surface treatment and the role the flake plays in your paste. |
| Spherical | 16M, 9N, 516, 517, 16W | Chemistry, size distribution and lot test results for each grade you sample. |
| Nano | JW-101 | Measured size distribution, dispersion and handling advice, and the process it targets. |
| Single crystal | SC5001 | Crystal structure data, shape distribution and application results. |
The catalogue gives grade names only. Ask for D50, D90, purity, surface area and density on the data sheet of every grade you plan to test. [1]
A 2025 deal that was called off
Ningbo Fuda planned to buy Jingxin in 2025, then ended the deal
January 2025 proposal
Ningbo Fuda's six-page announcement named Jingxin as an acquisition target and described its PV powder business. It also gives a clear outside record of the company's identity and product line. [3]
May 2025 termination
A three-page follow-up says the parties agreed on May 9, 2025 to end the transaction, which had not been formally carried out. Jingxin did not become a Ningbo Fuda subsidiary through this plan. [4]
Company size and your order
The homepage gives 2023 production figures plus staff and site numbers. Ask the quotation to state current allocation, the grades the plant can make, delivery dates and which plant will produce your powder. [1]
From sample to repeat order
Tie the accepted powder lot to your paste and cell results
Ask for a full grade package
Request the intended electrode and application, chemistry and impurity limits, size distribution with test methods, surface treatment, moisture and volatile content, and handling properties. Agree which measured results decide acceptance. [1][3]
Link every sample to a lot
Get a lot certificate, the sampling method and traceable micrographs or shape data. Compare Jingxin's results with the methods you agreed, so the same yardstick applies when shipments start. [1]
Trial it in your own paste
Mix, disperse, print and fire with your real formulation. Log materials and settings, and set paste and cell targets with your technical team. Any efficiency or contact-resistance gain shows up here or not at all. Measure the fired cells on your usual cell testing and inspection equipment so the new grade is compared with your current paste on the same basis. [1][3]
Lock down repeat supply
Agree packaging, storage, handling of opened containers, expiry, traceability and advance notice of process changes. If Jingxin changes a surface treatment under the same grade name, rerun the trial. [1]
Project fit
Match the offering to your project
Paste formulators sourcing a silver powder for PV front or rear electrodes.

Buyers who want particle shape, chemistry and delivery terms written into one grade agreement.
Confirm before ordering
- A current data sheet and lot certificate for each grade, with chemistry, size distribution and handling figures.
- Low-temperature grade details, which the homepage links did not open, and a direct technical contact.
- The plant that will produce your powder and the outcome of your own sample trial.
Facts come from Jingxin's own catalogue and the 516 micrograph, plus Ningbo Fuda's two 2025 filings on the dropped acquisition.

Does Jingxin sell ready-to-print silver paste?
Jingxin's PV listing covers silver powder. Paste adds frit, binder and vehicle and needs its own formula and process sheet, so buy paste from a paste maker or formulate it yourself. [1][3]
Is Jingxin part of Ningbo Fuda?
No. Ningbo Fuda proposed an acquisition in January 2025 and announced its termination in May 2025. [3][4]
Can I read D50 or purity off the 516 micrograph?
The image shows particle shape with a scale bar. For D50 and purity, ask for the measured distribution and chemical certificate of the lot you sample. [1][2]
Is the nano grade suitable for HJT low-temperature paste?
Jingxin's public pages give no HJT or low-temperature data for a named grade. Ask Jingxin for application results on the grade before you plan an HJT trial. [1]
