Solar cell workshop material handling system
Zhejiang Guozi Robotics Co., Ltd. ↗In Guozi's solar-cell case, mobile robots, robotic arms, conveyors and work-in-process buffers work as one system. They keep loaded and empty baskets circulating between production stages, and scheduling software links the machines to material management.
Project case. The equipment shown belongs to one plant, so robot count, capacity and results are worked out again for each workshop.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Begin with basket demand at each process and then follow the empty basket home. A right-sized fleet also needs station interfaces that are free when it arrives and a clear route for exceptions.

Loaded and empty baskets need one plan
Loaded baskets
Show where wafers enter each route, how process identity is set and what the receiving station needs before it accepts a basket. In the Guozi case the baskets travel from texturing through screen printing to packaging, so each of those machines is a receiving station to map.
Empty baskets
Cover returns, cleaning or swap rules and when an empty basket is ready again. A shortage of empties can halt the line while loaded deliveries run smoothly.

Bring your real workshop limits to the table
| Constraint | What you provide | What the proposal should contain |
|---|---|---|
| Station demand | Loaded and empty calls by process and by time. | Dispatch rules, peak-demand assumptions and buffer allocation. |
| Basket geometry | Basket drawings, loaded mass and handling condition. | How the robot or arm meets the basket and where it makes contact. |
| Running production | Access limits, maintenance slots and windows for changes. | Cutover scope and a workable manual fallback. |
| System data | Material identity and machine-ready signals. | Data ownership, message definitions and error handling. |

Judge the result, not the fleet count
Run typical routes
Use real baskets and request timing close to production, with both loaded deliveries and empty returns.
Stop a receiving station
Check that dispatch reassigns tasks, queues stay within limits and baskets stay identified during a realistic stop.
Bring the system back
Show the approved steps for a blocked route or a robot out of service, and the return to automatic running.
Count every basket
Compare sent, received and unaccounted-for baskets against the agreed records. Set the timing and completeness measures before the run starts.

What to put in a workshop logistics enquiry
Process and basket map
Every sending and receiving station, each basket type and every loaded and empty route.
Timing and limits
Moves required, shift pattern, buffers and maintenance access.
Who supplies what
Split robot, arm, conveyor, dispatch, material management and factory-system responsibilities.
Acceptance cases
Normal flow, a receiving station that is down, a blocked route and manual recovery, with identity records kept throughout.
