HORAD cell feeding and basket-return system
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗This system carries cell baskets to the laser cutter or stringer and returns the empties underneath. HORAD describes automatic transport, with operators unpacking cells and loading jigs at the inlet.
HORAD product page for cell feeding labelled BC/TOPCon/HJT. No model code, full route drawing, transfer rate or cell-damage result is published, so request them with the quotation.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Mark where manual unpacking stops and automatic transport starts. Map loaded and empty basket routes, size them to your stringer demand, and agree tracking and breakage limits in writing.

Where operators load and where the conveyors take over
HORAD's function text begins after a printing line, with cells loaded into baskets automatically. Elevators lift the baskets onto a double-layer return line with buffers, a 90-degree turn and a 180-degree rotation, and the flow is diverted to a laser cutter or stringer. Empty baskets travel back on the lower conveyor.
The performance text describes another inlet. Operators unpack cells and load turnover jigs that hold 300 cells each. Four units on the right give eight manual loading positions, which HORAD says supply stringers for four module lines. The two texts may cover two inlet options. Ask HORAD which one your quotation includes, and draw the manual and automatic zones on the layout.

Plan full and empty jig routes as one loop
Size the buffer to the stringers
Work out supply from your real stringer rates and their stop and restart behaviour. HORAD's four-line figure comes without a takt time or buffer duration.
Protect fragile cells
Give cell thickness, format, accepted breakage and how cells are loaded. Ask how cells are supported and touched in transit, and request trial results on your cells.
Pin down tracking
HORAD lists FRD data acquisition and tracking without defining the protocol. Ask which ID method, data fields and upstream and downstream interfaces come with it.

Acceptance steps for your cell route
Approve the layout
Mark manual positions, elevators, rotations, merge and divert points, buffers and both return paths on your real floor plan.
Run loaded jigs
Send your cells and jigs through the normal path and the recovery path. Record damage, ID reads, transport time and misrouting against agreed limits.
Interrupt the demand
Stop a stringer, fill a buffer, starve the empty-jig supply and restart under control. Agree what the system does and where operators may safely enter.
Fix the documents
Write down the agreed route, throughput basis, utilities, spare jigs and software interfaces. Tie any four-line output figure to this acceptance run.

Questions buyers ask about HORAD cell feeding
Is loading fully automatic?
HORAD describes both automatic loading after printing and manual unpacking into jigs. Ask which arrangement your quote includes.
Does 300 cells per jig give an hourly rate?
No. That is jig capacity. Hourly supply depends on route time, buffers and stringer demand, so ask HORAD to state it for your layout.
What does FRD tracking mean here?
HORAD uses the term without a definition. Ask for the hardware, the protocol and how tracking will be accepted.
