CONAL VH · Continuous graphite purification furnace

NAURA ↗

The CONAL VH cleans carbon parts, not wafers. It purifies the graphite structural parts and felt that line furnaces and hot zones in semiconductor and solar equipment, running them through continuously at high temperature.

NAURA's Chinese text describes purification; its English heading calls the CONAL VH a graphitization furnace. If you need graphitization as well, ask NAURA to specify it as a separate process.

General illustration of wafer processing equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK

Get a current written temperature and process specification from NAURA, describe your incoming graphite or felt and the impurity levels you need, then accept the furnace on measured purity and how well the parts keep their properties.

What the CONAL VH treats and how

NAURA offers the CONAL VH for high-temperature purification of graphite structural parts and felt used in semiconductor and photovoltaic manufacturing. Gas enters through multiple inlets, process and protective flows are controlled separately, and a porous distributor spreads the reaction gas. Heating is zoned and loading runs continuously under automation. Ask for residual impurity levels, strength after treatment and dimensional change on parts like yours.

The page gives two different maximum temperatures: 2400°C with ±5°C uniformity in the Chinese text, and 1900°C in the technical table. The English heading also says graphitization where the Chinese text says purification. Ask NAURA which temperature and which process apply to the configuration in your quotation.

What to send with your enquiry

  • Your carbon parts

Give graphite grade or felt type, sizes, load pattern and starting contamination, and say which hot-zone part each piece becomes. Purified graphite that also needs a silicon carbide coating can go on to NAURA's VERAL GH coating furnace.

  • Target result

List the impurities and test methods, sampling points, allowed dimensional change and the mechanical properties you must keep.

  • Temperature answer

Ask NAURA to settle the 2400°C and 1900°C figures and describe how uniformity is tested in a loaded zone.

  • Process scope

Get the gas and protective flow plan, exhaust and abatement, load transport and service duties for the purification route you agree.

Accepting the furnace on purified parts

  1. Agree the specification

Sign off the operation, temperature limit and usable loaded volume.

  2. Test incoming stock

Measure starting impurities and part properties on traceable batches so you have a baseline.

  3. Test treated stock

Check the agreed impurities, dimensions and properties on parts from different positions through a continuous run.

  4. Sign off operation

Record good output, consumables, stoppages and the handling and service NAURA provides for your load.

Questions buyers ask about the CONAL VH

Is the maximum 2400°C or 1900°C?

The page lists both. Ask NAURA to state the guaranteed figure for your configuration in the quotation.

Can it graphitize as well as purify?

Only the English heading says graphitization. If you need it, ask NAURA for a separate graphitization specification and results.

Will a high temperature guarantee purity?

Purity is measured on the parts. Set impurity targets and property limits and test treated samples against them.
