GF50xy · GF50xy PV module junction-box family
Zhejiang Renhe Photovoltaic Technology ↗A three-diode, potting-sealed junction box for crystalline-silicon modules, rated 1500 V DC. Each GF50xy order should name one diode and current row, one cable standard and one connector pair, with the assembly process that suits them.

What the Renhe GF50xy box is
GF50xy is a junction-box family shown on Renhe's product photo and outline drawing. The family table lists three diodes and terminal distances of 16–20 mm. Renhe's tables leave the x and y unexplained and give no full order code per diode row, so ask for the circuit drawing and suffix that match your module.
Renhe's product page also carries FT50xy entries for offshore use and 2000 V. They sit on separate tabs, and their ratings belong to FT50xy. Everything below comes from the GF50xy images.

Cable and connector choices for GF50xy
Connector voltage and approval
Renhe groups connector options under 1000V and 1500V and under TÜV and UL. Ask for the exact connector model and the current document that covers it in the column you are buying.
Both halves of the connection
Write the supplied connector and the mating connector, with maker and model, cable and termination, into the order. Ask for documents that approve that pairing.
More than a cable size
The columns show 4mm² and 12AWG. Request the cable construction, standard, insulation and jacket, length and termination controls as well.
Keep the circuit fixed
Send ribbon positions and your module electrical design. Confirm diode type and polarity, and require a review before any substitution.

Qualifying the potted GF50xy on your module
Collect the controlled documents
You need the full variant code, a toleranced drawing, current certificates with annexes, and Renhe's soldering, bonding and potting instructions. Check that the delivered parts match them.
Check ribbon and footprint
Review ribbon placement, free length, solder access and box footprint on your module. The outline dimensions and the 8 mm ribbon limit are a starting point.
Set dose and cure
Use about 28 ml as the catalogue reference. Agree compound, dose and coverage limits, mixing where needed, air removal and cure-release criteria for your build, since the catalogue gives no cure figures.
Inspect finished assemblies
Agree polarity, solder quality, potting coverage and the environmental and electrical tests. Keep lot records and the approved build, and ask for current configuration certificates alongside the 2024 DEKRA news.

GF50xy ordering questions
Is the 20 A rating valid in both columns?
The table puts 13–16 A rows under TÜV and a separate 20 A row under UL. Ask for the variant code and approval annex for the rating you need.
Can GF50xy stay underwater indefinitely?
The IP68 entry carries a 1 m, 1 h note. For long immersion or offshore service, ask Renhe which qualification applies.
Is 28 ml a fixed dispense quantity?
Renhe gives it as approximately 28 ml. Set the dose, coverage and tolerance with Renhe for your process.
Are R50406314 and E312261 current?
These numbers appear on Renhe's data image. Ask for the current certificates with their full model and configuration pages.
Does the 2024 CB award cover my GF50xy variant?
DEKRA's notice names Renhe and the standards, without a GF50xy variant list. Request the certificate and annex for your configuration.
