How cells are fed and placed
ConfirmWare describes dual-track feeding, with cells loaded and unloaded in a cycle across an upper and a lower layer. A high-speed four-axis robot works with sliding tables, vertical grippers and tail clamps, and a servo-driven conveyor and alignment unit moves the cells. If you are moving to a new cell size or a thinner wafer, bring your own cell boxes and sample cells to acceptance, and have ConfirmWare set up the grippers and alignment routine on them. [2]
Preheat, solder, cool
Joints pass through a tunnel light box in three zones: preheating, soldering and cooling, run by temperature-control algorithms. Vision guides cell placement.
