Solar silicon face-grinding wheels
DIASC / Sanchao ↗Grinding wheels that flatten the faces of solar silicon blocks, made in resin and metal bonds with separate specifications for roughing and finishing.
Sanchao's face-grinding page names the solar silicon use and the two bond families. It has no table of sizes, grit, concentration, speed or wheel life.
General illustration of wafer processing equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.

The manufacturer has not published a complete specification table for this entry. Request the exact offered drawing and operating limits.
01 · Manufacturer information
Resin bond or metal bond for silicon faces
Sanchao titles this wheel family for face grinding solar silicon stock. It sells resin and metal bonds and changes the specification between roughing and finishing. Test each bond as its own grade. The page gives no rule for which bond roughs and which finishes, and the two are not swapped freely.
Wheel size, mounting drawing, grain and concentration, balance and runout, rated speed, dressing method and surface results are all missing. Ask Sanchao for each of them against your machine and block. Its semiconductor range also includes backgrinding wheels for chip wafers; keep those specifications out of a solar block order.

Grinding-wheel questions
Does Sanchao publish grit or wheel diameter?
Not on this page. Request a numbered wheel drawing.
Can resin and metal bonds replace each other?
Choose and test the grade for each operation. The page only names the two families.
What speed should the wheel run at?
The page gives no rated speed or machine settings. Ask Sanchao for both.
