Material grade
Name the composition or grade and the traceability you need. A family name alone leaves processing route, purity and paperwork open.
Finished ceramic
Fix the dimensions, critical faces, finish and cleaning. Then set the inspection method and sample size against the drawing.
Installed duty
The owner of the receiving tool should check loads, heat flow, electrical stress, sealing, gas or plasma exposure and cleaning cycles. Coupon data describes the material; fit in the assembly is judged on the part. On PV cell lines, typical duties are insulators and supports inside diffusion furnaces and plasma deposition tools; give the receiving station on the drawing.

How Jiangdong makes ceramic parts
Ferrotec's ceramic page describes production from fine powder through sintering. Its 2019 brochure lists ceramic development and production at Jiangdong, plus precision machining, inspection and chemical cleaning. Ask for today's machine list and the tolerances Jiangdong will hold on your part, because the brochure reflects 2019.
The same product page names a second Zhejiang base for ceramics. Have the offer state which site makes the part, which company signs the contract and which steps go to outside processors. Furnaces, quartz components and vacuum devices from the wider group are separate enquiries.

From first drawing to repeat lots
Agree material and geometry
Send the part revision and its duty. Get back a grade proposal and a marked-up drawing that flags anything Jiangdong cannot meet.
Write acceptance rules before machining
Settle dimensions, surface and cleanliness limits, material records, the inspection method and how out-of-tolerance features are handled.
Judge the sample in its machine
Have the engineer responsible for the equipment check fit and duty, and name any electrical, thermal or process-exposure test for that installation.
Keep each lot traceable
Link the approved drawing and grade to every later lot, with notice of changes and the agreed inspection and cleaning records.

Common questions on Jiangdong ceramic parts
Will a part with the same family label drop straight in?
Not by itself. Grade, processing route, dimensions, functional surfaces and installed duty all have to match.
Do Ferrotec catalogue temperatures set the safe limit for my part?
No. The safe limit depends on the assembled geometry, thermal cycling, loads and process and cleaning exposure. Ask Jiangdong to state the limit for your component in writing.
Can I buy a furnace or deposition system through this listing?
This listing covers ceramic components. A complete system needs its own supply scope and named maker, and other Ferrotec products belong to other group companies unless the quote says otherwise.
Has anyone outside Ferrotec tested the factory or a sample?
