COMPONENT
Silicon carbide PV boat holder
FLK / Sealmann (Ningbo) ↗A silicon-carbide support for wafer boats, offered for PV and semiconductor tools and built to the buyer's drawing. The quote starts from the mating boat and the support layout.
Support hardware for the boat. The wafer boat, furnace tube and process tool are separate purchases with their own specifications.
General illustration of cell production equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Send FLK the holder and boat interface and your real heat and load cycle. Then settle material, deformation limits, cleanliness and cleaning with FLK and your tool owner, and ask FLK to confirm them in writing.

What the FLK SiC boat holder does
FLK offers this silicon-carbide boat holder for photovoltaic and semiconductor process hardware and makes it to the drawing you supply. Its PV application page lists holders alongside fluidized-bed structures and pipework, and the crystal boat has a product entry of its own. In cell production such supports carry the boats that move wafers through diffusion furnaces, so give FLK the furnace and loading layout too.
FLK describes the holder as stable, resistant to thermal shock and low in expansion. Load, purity, tolerance and temperature figures come out of your enquiry, so include the mating boat, support and contact surfaces, datum features, travel and the clearances around the part.

Build the drawing package for a holder quote
| Input | What it decides | What to ask FLK for |
|---|---|---|
| Boat and support layout | Where the load sits and how the assembly moves | Mating drawing and a list of included and excluded items |
| Datums and contact surfaces | How the assembled geometry is inspected | Dimension and flatness limits with the inspection method |
| Load and thermal cycle | What deformation and stability limits mean in use | Agreed conditions and the allowed change |
| Atmosphere and surface | Which material or coating state suits the process | Material identity and contamination criteria |
| Handling and installation | How the part is lifted and supported safely | Handling and support instructions |

Figures on nearby FLK pages and what to ask instead
Impurity and coating
The crystal-boat entry gives substrate impurity below 200 ppm and below 50 ppm after coating, for semiconductor use. Ask FLK for the holder's own grade, coating and batch certificate.
Temperature
The tube page gives long-term use at 1200–1350 °C and also a 1300° maximum. Ask FLK to state the holder's operating range for your cycle.
Load and life
The holder page speaks of stability and long life without load, cycle or lifetime figures. Give FLK your real support duty and agree the acceptance test.

Check the geometry after forming, sintering and machining
Confirm the route
FLK's PV page describes 3D forming, then sintering and precision machining. Ask which route and material apply to your drawing, which exceptions FLK proposes and whether the part is coated.
Measure what matters
Request the inspection plan and report for support and contact dimensions, surface condition and traceability on the finished part.
Trial it in the tool
Hand the installed deformation and process-compatibility check to your tool or process owner, with a defined load and temperature cycle, observations and pass criteria. No installed trial is reported for this holder yet.

Plan cleaning before relying on acid-free claims
FLK's PV page says its parts avoid acid cleaning, cut contamination risk and last longer. Ask FLK for any cleaning procedure, deposit history or service-life record it holds for this holder, and keep your current process recipe until those are agreed.
List the residues you see, the chemicals you allow, cleaning temperature and handling, any coating limits, the inspection after cleaning and the criteria for return to service. Treat transport protection and packaging as a separate item. Ask how material identity and cleaning records will travel with each new or serviced holder.

Common questions on the FLK SiC holder
Does the holder carry the wafers directly?
The wafers sit in the boat. FLK lists its crystal boat separately, so name the boat and support interfaces for your holder.
Can FLK make the holder to my drawing?
Yes, the product page offers drawing-based customization. Agree the material, scope of manufacture and acceptance drawing in the quote.
Does the holder meet a 50 ppm impurity limit?
That figure comes from the crystal-boat page. Ask FLK to state the holder's impurity limit and test method.
Can I stop acid cleaning with this holder?
FLK states it as a general benefit. Set a cleaning procedure for your part and process with your tool owner first.
