EQUIPMENT SERIES
Photovoltaic ingot transfer robot series
Hangzhou Hikrobot Co., Ltd. ↗Hikrobot's PV version of the CMR robot pairs a mobile base with a gripping arm, so it can bring an ingot to the slicer and load it. The job is done when the slicing station has the ingot safely in place, which takes more than driving to the door.
Series entry covering the PV slicing variant. Payload and gripper envelope are set per ingot and per configuration.
General illustration of wafer processing equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Bring the slicer loading drawing and your loaded and empty exchange order to Hikrobot. Navigation figures alone will not tell you whether the handover fits.

Plan both legs of the swap
Pick up the loaded ingot
Before pickup, note the ingot, its carrier, the surfaces it rests on and its identification state. Ingots reach this point after squaring and grinding, earlier steps in the wafer processing route.
Travel and wait
Set how stations call the robot, the route it drives and a waiting spot where it blocks neither people nor other material.
Dock and hand over
Agree the mechanical reference point, loading height, gripper clearance and the machine-ready and safety signals.
Take the empty carrier back
The PV variant has two storage positions for the swap. Test the occupied and empty states as well as the loaded trip.

What to ask for at the slicer handover
| Question | Drawing or trial to request | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Can the gripper hold this ingot? | Ingot mass and geometry, a contact drawing and a pickup with a real piece. | Load capacity is set for the unit offered; a family picture will not give it. |
| Will the slicer accept the transfer? | Loading envelope and a joint handshake test. | A loading cycle is finished only when the machine takes the ingot. |
| What if the station stops? | Recovery instructions and a demonstration with the machine stopped. | An ingot may be left on the robot or caught in the interface. |
| How are carriers tracked? | Identity and state mapping across loaded and empty swaps. | Each ingot must keep its production assignment as it moves. |

Robot supply and machine changes are separate scopes
On a retrofit, list every change needed to guards, access, machine controls and loading hardware. Name who approves changes to the slicer and who owns the full transfer sequence. A quote for the mobile robot alone may leave that integration work out. Where the hall already runs wider wafer handling automation, agree how the robot's calls and handovers join that system.
Accept the system with a run on your route, using real ingots and real station demand. Count finished swaps and recoveries after interruptions, beyond travel speed or a docking test with no load. Ask Hikrobot for its latest technical sheet for the PV variant, because the series page has been updated since the slicing tab was captured.
