HORAD four-corner protector placement station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗Each corner of this HORAD packing station has its own silo of protectors, and all four are fitted to the module at the same moment.
HORAD lists a 12-second cycle and a wrapping yield of 99.9% or more without saying which protector or sample size they came from. A link to the factory system for fitting protectors on selected modules is offered to suit the customer.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
It fits lines packing modules with paper corner protectors. Approve protector and frame-section drawings, set coverage and grip targets, and trial feeding, fitting and the finished pallet with your chosen module. The station is one block of HORAD's wider module line, so agree its silo layout together with the strapping and stacking stations.

01 · Manufacturer information
Four silos, four corners at once
A silo stands at every corner, and the station wraps all four corners together in a 12-second cycle. Servo axes and cylinders correct position, and settings are made on a touchscreen. HORAD puts wrapping yield at 99.9% or better but does not say how many modules were counted or what was scored as a miss.
HORAD names kraft, white and corrugated paper protectors, single and double glass, and several cell-layout families. Every protector design still needs a fit check against your frame. Linking to the factory system so protectors go only on selected modules is offered to suit each customer, so list it as an option in your order.

Protector, frame and pallet details to send
The protector itself
Give material, thickness, folds, size and how protectors arrive in stacks. Ask HORAD to confirm the silos feed your paper grade cleanly.
The corner it sits on
Send the frame and glass section, where the protector may touch, how much it must cover and how firmly it must hold. Use the drawing to pin down what B and C mean. Corners coming from HORAD's frame-corner pressing station can still carry fresh sealant, so check the paper does not stick to it.
Pallet pattern and selective fitting
Show the final stack and say which modules get protectors. If the factory system picks them, define the module ID, what happens on a missed command and how the station restarts.

Trialling feed, fit and hold
Approve the drawings
Freeze protector design, module section and pallet pattern.
Fit all four corners
Look for missing, doubled or crushed protectors, check coverage and look for marks on the module. Note the paper batch and how it fed.
Pack and handle a pallet
Check that protectors stay in place through stacking, strapping and handling in your real package. Wrapping yield and transit protection are two separate results. Corner protection is one of the closing module-assembly steps, so judge it on the finished package.
Run a silo empty and jam it
Empty a silo, jam a protector and, if selective fitting is bought, send a wrong command. Agree reject handling and restart checks before you sign off the cycle and yield.

Questions about corner protection
Does a 99.9% yield mean modules ship undamaged?
No. It counts corners wrapped at the station. Test the packed pallet separately for transit.
Does the station link to the factory system as standard?
HORAD offers the link to suit each customer. Ask for the interface and logic to be listed in your offer.
What do B and C refer to?
HORAD gives B 20–50 mm and C 0–35 mm without a sketch. Mark both on your frame drawing and have HORAD confirm in writing.
