HORAD frame-corner pressing station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗After framing, this station locates the module, presses glue into the four corner joints and shapes them until the glass sits within 0.3 mm of the frame. Upper and lower corner locators also pull a misaligned frame back into line.
HORAD's page covers the mechanism, the gap figure, accepted panel sizes, utilities, footprint and weight. It leaves out a pressing-force window, a cycle time, the sealants and frame profiles it was set up for, and any camera detection rate. Ask for those with the quote.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
A fit for framing lines that see starved or overflowing corner glue on modules up to 2650 × 1500 mm. Send HORAD your frame profile, glass build and sealant, agree the force limits and the corner you will accept, then trial all four corners and the camera's pass and reject calls.

What happens at each corner
The module is positioned first. A lower push plate and an upper pressure plate then work in turn, driven by a mix of pneumatics and servo motors, forcing sealant through the corner joint. A shaping step follows and brings the glass-to-frame gap down to 0.3 mm or below, while upper and lower corner locators correct a frame that has shifted.
A pressure sensor sends the measured value back to the controls. Above the module, a vision system looks at the four glued corners before and after pressing so changes in glue spread can be seen. HORAD presents this as its answer to too little or too much corner glue, so bring your own bead size and bond-line target to the quote discussion. Glue squeezed out of the joint here is what HORAD's robotic corner cleaning station wipes away afterwards.

Three inputs that decide the corner result
Frame and glass drawings
Share the profile, the corner key design, the glass or laminate stack and the gap you see arriving at the station. Mark where plates may touch and the final gap and alignment you will accept. That incoming gap is set by HORAD's framing system or whichever frame press feeds this station.
Sealant at the moment of pressing
Name the sealant, bead size and pattern, and how long it has sat in the frame when the module arrives. Pressing spreads the glue that is there; it cannot add glue that was never dispensed.
Force and camera limits
Ask how pressure is measured and controlled, what the safe force ceiling is, and which glue faults the camera is set to catch. Build a small set of good, starved and overfilled corners to draw the line between pass and fail.

Trial plan for the corner press
Lock the drawings
Sign off frame, glass, sealant state and a measured reference corner before the trial starts.
Set and record pressure
Log the pressure and tooling used, measure gap and alignment at every corner, and look for cracked glass, marked frames or other module damage.
Test the camera on known corners
Feed in good, starved and overfilled corners. Agree how the before-and-after images are judged and where rejects go, apart from whether the press itself did its job.
Force a few faults
Load a skewed frame, interrupt a press and trip the sensor and camera. Write down the safe restart, the recheck and the first-piece approval.

Corner pressing questions
Is 0.3 mm a pressure setting?
It is the glass-to-frame gap HORAD gives after shaping. Pressure is a separate value to agree.
Will pressing rescue a corner with too little glue?
Pressing moves what was dispensed. Set a minimum glue quantity going in and an accepted fill coming out for your materials.
What force does the machine apply?
The page gives no force figure. Ask HORAD to state the limits in writing and trial them on your module.
