Standards listed and the certificate to request
Qrunning cites 2Pfg1169/08:2007 and EN 50618:2014 for its PV cable. Ask for the certificate that covers your order: standard edition, certificate holder, producing site, model and the annex listing approved sections.
The laboratory page lists resistance, mechanical, ageing and flame tests. Its insulation-resistance method covers sections up to 120 mm². For sections above that, up to the 240 mm² catalogue limit, and for terminated leads, ask how Qrunning tests them and who issues the report.

What the cross-section drawing shows
Conductor
The centre is labelled conductor. Copper grade, strand count, tinning and DC resistance go on the controlled construction sheet you request.
Insulation
The middle ring is labelled insulation. Thickness tolerance and compound name belong in the order specification.
Sheath
The outer ring is the sheath. Get its diameter and material for your section, because they decide seal fit and handling.

Need rodent or UV resistance? Ask for the released grade
A flexible cable that stands up to rodents, ants and UV is still a project under way in Qrunning's 2025 report. Standard H1Z2Z2-K reels are listed without those properties. If your site needs them, ask for the released designation, its construction and the matching test reports.

Where do I find ampacity?
The catalogue gives sections only. Ask Qrunning for a current-carrying table for your installation method and temperature.
Can the cable run at 200°C?
No. 200°C is the short-circuit limit, for five seconds at most.
What bend radius in millimetres?
The rule is at least six times the outer diameter. Multiply by the diameter of the section you order.
Is the drawing my reel?
It is a layer sketch with no grade, section, dimensions or reel number. Your reel is defined by the construction sheet and test report.
Can I use any connector rated for the same section?
Ask the connector maker and Qrunning to approve the exact contact, strain relief and seal combination for this cable.
