HORAD module framing system
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗The framing system fits the frame around the laminate. HORAD splits it into a frame gantry and an assembly machine that work without getting in each other's way, levels the laminate on a servo-lifted suction table, and changes board type with one key.
HORAD gives three geometry tolerances, a cycle figure, B-side and C-side frame thickness ranges, panel range, utilities, size and weight. The supported frame family, the adhesive package and the basis for sustained line output are absent, so ask for them with the quotation.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
A strong candidate if you need tight frame geometry at a short cycle. Send HORAD your extrusion and corner drawings, agree how each of the three frame measurements is taken, and trial loading, fitting and dimensions on every format you plan to run.

01 · Manufacturer information
Two machines, one framed module
HORAD says the frame gantry and the framing machine can each work on their own without interfering. The gantry passes frames to the assembly machine for fitting, and a servo lifts the suction-cup table to level the laminate. Switching to another board type takes one key. Framed modules then move to HORAD's frame-corner pressing station, where sealant is pushed into each joint, and on to robotic corner cleaning.
HORAD states frame compatibility as a B-side thickness of 25–40 mm and a C-side thickness of 20–35 mm, and says frames with no C side also run. Map these labels onto an annotated drawing of your extrusion; they describe frame sides and are separate from glass or module thickness. Each published tolerance measures a different feature of the finished frame.

Frame geometry and machine data
| Entry | HORAD value | How to measure or confirm |
|---|---|---|
| B-side / C-side labels | 25–40 / 20–35 mm; frames without a C side supported | Match to your annotated profile sections. |
| Diagonal assembly accuracy | ±1.0 mm | Nominal diagonal or difference, datum and conditions. |
| Profile assembly height difference | ≤0.3 mm | Measurement points and reference. |
| Frame corner gap | ≤0.3 mm | Which corner or side, and the inspection method. |
| High-speed framing cycle | ≤12 seconds | Format, loading and where the cycle starts and ends. |
| Panel size range | 1650 × 990–2650 × 1500 mm | Your paired formats. |
| Supply / power / air | 380 V / 10 kW / 0.6–0.8 MPa | Load, air flow and air quality. |
| Machine size, L × H × W / weight | 3400 × 2300 × 1000 mm / 5 T | Ask whether this covers the whole system or one machine. |

What to attach to the enquiry
Extrusion and corner joint
Send profile sections, corner keys or joints and their tolerances. Ask HORAD to mark what B side and C side mean on your profile and where tooling may touch.
Laminate and adhesive
Give glass and laminate sizes, edge condition, adhesive process and the time allowed for fitting. Ask about supports and the assembly force the laminate will see.
Gantry supply
Ask how frames are presented, how much the transfer or buffer holds and what footprint the quote covers. Independent running still needs a plan for refilling and for an empty supply.

Trial plan with agreed datums
Fix drawings and scope
Freeze profiles, laminate, tooling and which gantry and assembly functions are included.
Measure three results
Take diagonal, profile height difference and corner gap one by one on approved formats and materials.
Check fit and materials
Inspect adhesive spread, glass or laminate damage and corner seating, and log tooling and force settings.
Time the cycle
Run the agreed 12-second operation with real frame supply. Watch format changes, a failed supply and the restart check, and keep the approved samples and methods on file.

Framing questions
Are the B-side and C-side figures module thickness?
HORAD calls them frame side thicknesses. Read them against your extrusion drawing.
Is ±1 mm the corner gap limit?
No. The ±1.0 mm entry is diagonal accuracy. HORAD lists corner gap separately at ≤0.3 mm.
Does the 12-second figure cover the whole line?
HORAD gives no definition of the cycle. Ask it to confirm in writing which loading and transfer steps the 12 seconds includes, and under what sustained running conditions.
