Zhijiang supplies box potting from its JS-1184 family instead. Potting belongs to PV junction-box potting materials and is dispensed on equipment such as the AB junction-box potting station, so plan the two materials and their dispensers as separate purchases.
What to prove before production
Adhesion data and lot certificates are explained in qualifying PV module materials. Write down each joint and the surfaces it touches: anodised frame, glass edge, backsheet or back glass, and the plastic of the junction-box components. Adhesion depends on each pairing, so trial them one at a time.
Get the current grade sheet and safety documents, then prove surface preparation, dispensing, cure and adhesion under logged production conditions, including line speed and the time between dispensing and joining. Peel or pull checks on trial parts show whether the bond fails in the sealant or at the surface. Damp-heat and cycling runs in environmental test equipment show how the joint ages. Ask Zhijiang to confirm in writing which substrates and primers the grade is approved for, and log each sealant lot against the modules it went into, as the guide to line traceability describes.
Plan the equipment scope
Identify the production step, cell or module format and output unit before comparing equipment. Use the listed source, scope and specifications to prepare a configuration-specific enquiry. Missing values are left unspecified and do not count as exact filter matches.
JS-606 PLUS is an oxime-cure silicone from Zhijiang, made to fix aluminium frames and junction boxes on solar modules. It tack-frees in 5–15 min (8 min typical), reaches tensile strength of at least 2.8 MPa and comes in white or black. Qualify it on your own frame coating and backsheet, and set handling time from a line trial.
