The module framing system splits the work between a frame gantry and an assembly machine that run without blocking each other, holds the laminate level on a servo-lifted suction table and changes board type with one key. Agree how each of the three frame measurements is taken and trial every format you plan to run.
The frame-corner pressing station locates the module, presses glue into the four corner joints and brings the glass within 0.3 mm of the frame, with corner locators that pull a misaligned frame back into line. It handles modules up to 2650 × 1500 mm. Trial the camera's pass and reject calls along with the corners; the vision testing guide lists what to check.
The robotic frame-corner cleaning station uses a pair of six-axis robots and foam pads to wipe squeezed-out glue from the joints. It suits plants that already receive cells packed in foam.
For solar panel framing equipment, begin your enquiry with module dimensions, frame profile and sealant or joining method. Request a configuration-specific quotation and agree on alignment measurement, curing arrangement and the agreed mechanical acceptance test. Each listing shows the published values and the questions to confirm.
Two six-axis robots wipe leftover sealant from the four frame joints on both the A and B sides of each module. HORAD feeds them foam saved from incoming cell packaging, swaps the wiping material every four hours and keeps two fixture-box sets per machine for quick reloads. It handles panels from 1640 to 2650 mm long on 380 V and 11 kW.
HORAD's corner press squeezes sealant into all four corners of a framed module, then shapes the joint so the gap between glass and frame ends at 0.3 mm or less. Lower push plates and upper pressure plates run on air and servo drive, a sensor reports pressing pressure, and an overhead camera compares the glued corners before and after. It takes modules from 1680 to 2650 mm long.
HORAD's framing system pairs a frame gantry with an assembly machine that run independently, so frame supply and fitting stay out of each other's way. HORAD lists diagonal accuracy of ±1.0 mm, profile height difference and corner gap each at ≤0.3 mm, and a framing cycle of ≤12 seconds on panels from 1650 × 990 to 2650 × 1500 mm.

Selection guide
Module framing equipment must match the module geometry, frame profile and joining process. Clarify whether the machine applies sealant, assembles the frame, handles the module or forms part of a wider downstream line. Mechanical fit and appearance should have separate acceptance definitions.
Inputs to prepare before shortlisting
Module and frame
Provide module dimensions, frame section, tolerances and assembly references. Identify the supported product variants and any tooling required for changeover.
Joining process
Describe sealant or other joining materials and the required curing or dwell arrangement. Assign responsibility for consumables and process settings.
Line handover
Specify module arrival, rotation or handling needs, output conveyor and reject flow. Define safety and identification signals between stations.
Make quotations comparable
Compare complete framed-module output under the same material and process conditions. Ask how cure or dwell time is handled in the line calculation. Separate a mechanical machine-cycle claim from the capacity of the full downstream process.
Plan the acceptance test
Agree checks for alignment, dimensional fit, appearance and the relevant mechanical performance. Record material batches and process settings. Test tooling changeover and recovery from a stopped cycle using representative modules.
Avoid this comparison mistake
Module qualification and long-term field reliability are proven at module level. Plan those tests separately from the framing machine purchase.
