HORAD module electrical-test station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗HORAD's electrical-test station clamps the test supply to the module, positive pole to the tooling and negative to the panel edges, then runs DC withstand-voltage, insulation-resistance and ground-resistance checks automatically.
HORAD lists the three tests, two grounding options, the failure alarm, panel sizes, utilities and machine size. Test voltages, limits, ranges, dwell times, accuracy and calibration are for you and HORAD to fix in the order. The station belongs to the testing and inspection end of the line, alongside label checks and grade sorting.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
It suits a line that wants the three safety tests in one automatic station. Bring your module test plan and grounding choice, then ask HORAD to state in writing the tester ranges, accuracy, calibration and safety interlocks it will supply.

Three tests in one station
The test supply connects its positive pole to the tooling and its negative pole to the module edges. Buyers can choose four-corner grounding, or foam grounding along all four sides for frameless panels. HORAD lists automatic DC withstand-voltage, insulation-resistance and ground-resistance tests, and a sound and light alarm flags any module that fails.
The product page is titled Testing Jig Return System, yet its text describes this tester. A plural-named HORAD page covers a crossbar tooling loop, which is a different machine. HORAD gives no test recipe, voltage range, resistance or current range, accuracy or compliance certificate here, so those figures belong in your enquiry.

Listed figures for the test station
| Item | HORAD lists | What your test plan adds |
|---|---|---|
| Tests | DC withstand / insulation resistance / ground resistance | Voltage or current, pass limits, dwell and method for each. |
| Grounding | Four-corner OR frameless four-side foam | Which option you buy and how contact is checked. |
| Failure signal | Sound and light alarm | Where failed modules go, what is recorded and how the line restarts. |
| Panel sizes | 1650 × 990–2500 × 1400 mm | Your formats and junction-box connections. |
| Supply / machine power | AC380 V / 4 kW | Station load only; the test output is a separate figure. |
| Air pressure | 0.6–0.8 MPa | Litres per minute and filtration needed. |
| Machine size, L × H × W / weight | 3560 × 1820 × 2300 mm / 2 T | Guarding, discharge and room for servicing. |

Three things to put in the enquiry
Your module test plan
State the module build and, from your engineering or certification plan, the test methods, levels, times and pass limits the station must apply.
Measuring range and grounding
Ask for tester ranges, resolution, accuracy and calibration certificates, plus a contact check. Pick four-corner or foam grounding to match framed or frameless product.
Operator safety and test records
Request the guarding, interlocks, discharge sequence and fault recovery. Decide how each result is tied to a module serial and stored, since the alarm alone keeps no record. HORAD's dual-printer labeling station downstream can then carry that serial onto the frame and nameplate.

Proving the tester on site
Lock the test settings
Fix methods, settings, the grounding option and the calibration package. Take test values from the plan and leave the 4 kW machine rating out of it.
Measure known references
Run reference samples with known values through each test and compare readings and pass or fail calls with the plan.
Break the contact on purpose
Try a missing ground, a poor contact and a wrong serial. Check that the result follows the right module, failures are set aside and half-finished tests are caught.
Check discharge and interlocks
Open guards and stop mid-test following your safety procedure. Keep calibration dates, tooling checks and change records afterwards.

Questions about the test station
Is 4 kW the test voltage rating?
No. 4 kW is what the machine draws. HORAD lists no test levels or ranges, so ask for them.
Is it certified to a module standard?
HORAD cites no certificate or standard-specific test set. If your customer requires one, ask HORAD to name it in writing.
Does the fail alarm log results?
The alarm signals a failure. Linking results to serial numbers, keeping records and routing rejects should be written into the order.
Can I buy it together with the crossbar tooling loop?
Yes, as two items. They do different jobs and have their own machine tables, so each needs its own scope line.
