Huaxin Thermal-field Materials ↗Huaxin's PAN sandwich rigid felt is a carbon-fibre insulation board, shown in the catalogue as rectangular boards. Internal layup
Ask for the precursor, grade, layer structure and any binder details your qualification needs. The word sandwich names a format; the formulation and its measured properties belong in the grade sheet.
Each exposed face
Huaxin offers OS coating, graphite paper, CFC and SiC treatment to suit the customer. State the face that meets the hot zone and the face behind it, and have the quote list both.
Other boards and shapes
The pitch-based cloth-faced board, the felt cylinders and the viscose-based boards each have their own entry. Switching precursor, facing or shape means new data and a new approval.

Ask for measured values in place of a headline temperature
Huaxin's exhibitor preview describes its felt as light, low in thermal conductivity and resistant to thermal shock. No figures or test conditions go with those words for the PAN sandwich board. Request the grade sheet and the method, temperature, atmosphere and orientation behind each value, matched to your furnace design.
Agree dimensional and cleanliness acceptance at the same time. Settle impurity tests, density and the finished build with your process engineer, and ask for batch traceability. A certificate for each delivered lot carries more weight than a general high-purity description.

Describe the installed part
Send the furnace position, envelope, toleranced dimensions, mounting and support, and handling limits. Say whether the board is for a new design or replaces a material you already approve.
Compare the quoted grade
Collect the build, thermal values and inspection limits, then let the furnace or process owner judge the fit. Company-wide PV experience is a starting point; approval happens part by part.
Fix acceptance and change rules
Agree checks on delivered boards, installation steps and any trial your engineer wants. A switch of precursor, treatment, machining or production site should trigger a fresh review by your engineer.

Build and faces
Ask for the PAN grade, the sandwich structure and the surfaces included.

Lot sign-off
Settle what each lot ships with: inspection results, trace codes and a change-control rule.
Producing site
Ask Huaxin to confirm in writing whether the Huzhou or the Hangzhou address makes your boards.

Questions to settle before comparing felt offers
Can a temperature rating from another felt grade apply here?
No. The PAN entry lists no temperature limit of its own. Ask for the PAN sandwich grade sheet and values measured under your operating conditions.
Can I take board sizes from the photo?
No. The photo has no scale or drawing behind it. Sizes come from the drawing you send and the quote Huaxin returns.
Does the PAN board come with carbon cloth on one side?
That phrase is part of the separate pitch-based board's title. Ask Huaxin which facing it supplies on the PAN sandwich board.
Has the board been tried in a PV furnace?
Huaxin publishes no furnace trial for this board. If your approval needs one, plan it with Huaxin and your process engineer before the order.
