EQUIPMENT MODEL
SGM 4101 · Czochralski silicon growth furnace
NAURA ↗The SGM 4101 pulls cylindrical monocrystalline silicon for solar wafers by the Czochralski method. It handles 10–16 inch ingots of either doping type, and a magnetic-field configuration can be added.
Covers the SGM 4101 as shown on NAURA's model page. The catalogue's 800–1700 range names furnace types across the family, so state the exact type you are quoting.
General illustration of wafer processing equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Buy the SGM 4101 once NAURA has confirmed in writing the hot zone, magnetic-field option and feedstock route for your ingot, and trial ingots meet your oxygen, carbon, resistivity and defect limits at the agreed accepted output.

How the SGM 4101 grows a crystal
Polysilicon melts under argon in a graphite-heated hot zone, and a seed crystal draws out a cylindrical monocrystalline ingot. NAURA lists ingots from 10 to 16 inches and support for both P-type and N-type processes.
NAURA also describes magnetic-field growth, a low-energy hot zone and AI-assisted control. These appear as features with no figures attached, so oxygen and carbon limits, resistivity spread, pull speed and ingot yield are yours to agree with NAURA. The 800–1700 numbers name furnace types in the family; ask what charge and dimensions your type has.

What to send NAURA with an SGM 4101 enquiry
Ingot target
Diameter, length, dopant and resistivity, oxygen and carbon limits and the defects you reject, with sampling positions and test methods. Name your feedstock and the usable ingot sections you need.
Furnace set-up
Ask for the furnace type, hot zone and crucible, magnetic-field option and the scope of growth control. Agree who owns the recipe.
Plant and upkeep
Request argon, power, cooling, vacuum, exhaust and handling needs. Cover consumables, safe hot-zone servicing and recovery after a failed growth run. Graphite and felt for the hot zone can be purified on NAURA's continuous graphite purification furnace.

Trial ingots before acceptance
Fix the set-up
Agree the model, hot zone, feedstock, dopant and crystal target, and who answers for each part of the process.
Check the puller
Confirm the agreed temperature, vacuum and control tests pass, using stated methods and a defined charge.
Test the ingots
Measure size, electrical and material properties and defects at agreed positions, counting the sections you cannot use.
Accept output and service
Run representative growth cycles and record accepted mass, consumption and stoppages. Have NAURA demonstrate consumable changes and maintenance safely.

SGM 4101 buyer questions
Will a 16-inch ingot meet my quality limits?
NAURA publishes no oxygen, carbon, resistivity or defect results. Write your limits into the trial and acceptance terms.
What do the 800–1700 numbers mean?
NAURA calls them furnace types. Ask whether they refer to charge, size or another figure for the type you are quoted.
Does the AI control lower energy per kilogram?
NAURA gives no comparable consumption figures. Ask for measured energy per accepted kilogram against a stated baseline.
