Vision-guided string layup
Suzhou SC-Solar Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗A camera-guided robot lays cell strings onto the prepared glass. SC-Solar quotes ±0.3 mm on the strings, ±1 mm on the glass and twelve strings in 30 seconds or less, with flipping, cutting and repair feeding sold as options.
SC-Solar says the machine works with different makes of stringer and changes pattern at one click. Pairing it with your own stringer is a project item: agree the handover, buffer and signal exchange with SC-Solar before ordering.
General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Choose it for high-volume layup where string spacing must be tight. Fix your string count, pitch and glass references, decide which options you are buying, and accept the machine on a full twelve-string run, or your own pattern, checked for both placement and cell damage.

01 · Manufacturer information
Two accuracy figures, two different jobs
Cameras locate each string and the glass, and the robot sets the strings down. SC-Solar lists ±0.3 mm for string layup and ±1 mm for glass positioning. The first concerns where a string lands; the second concerns where the glass sits. The page gives no combined tolerance for the finished module, so draw one yourself and have SC-Solar quote against it.
The cycle figure is for twelve strings. A different count or pattern, the cutting or repair options, or a slower upstream stringer can all change the real cycle. One-click pattern change is convenient, but the catalogue does not list supported cell thickness, string length, gripper contact or the communication protocol. Put those in your enquiry.

Acceptance run for string layup
Lock pattern and options
Sign off string geometry, references and the handling functions being delivered.
Measure what was placed
Check positions, gaps and orientation, and inspect cells for cracks across a realistic spread of incoming strings.
Run with the stringer
Link the stringer and buffer and time a full set of twelve strings, or your own pattern, from first pick to last.
Change and recover
Switch patterns, send a string to repair or reject, and restart after a stop, with the settings logged.

Buyer questions on string layup
Are ±0.3 mm and ±1 mm the same measurement?
No. One is string placement and the other is glass location.
Is 30 seconds valid for any pattern?
SC-Solar states it for twelve strings. Time your own pattern and options at the trial.
Are flipping and cutting in the base price?
SC-Solar lists them as options. Ask for each to be priced and named in the contract.
