Second-glass flip and layup

Suzhou SC-Solar Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗

This station closes a double-glass module. It picks the second glass by vacuum, flips it 180° and sets it on the stack at the alignment station, aiming for 12 seconds or less per module.

This is the station that places the rear glass on a finished layup. Unpacking glass and removing interleaf paper happen at a separate front-glass loader.

General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK

Order it for double-glass lines that need automatic rear-glass placement. Tell SC-Solar which face is coated, where the cups may touch and how tall the stack is, agree the final alignment, and accept on full flip cycles with glass and cell inspection.

Turning the rear glass onto the stack

Vacuum cups lift the second glass, the head turns it 180° and lays it down at the alignment station. Servo drives handle alignment and feed, and format changes are quick. The table gives long-edge feed and four-side alignment. SC-Solar lists no coated-face rules, glass thickness or weight, cup layout or numeric alignment tolerance; ask for these in the offer.

The glass lands on cells, ribbons and film that are already in place, so clearance, contact and orientation decide whether the module survives. A 12-second figure only means something once your stack, alignment target, damage limits and transfer are fixed. Paper removal and cleaning are features of SC-Solar's front glass loader and are not part of this machine. Once closed, the stack travels to lamination, for example on the SC-Solar laminator series, so check alignment after that transfer too.

What to tell SC-Solar about your stack

  • Faces and cups

Coated or printed sides, which way up the glass must land, where cups may touch, and glass size and weight.

  • Stack underneath

Condition of the lower glass, film and strings on arrival, how the stack is supported, and its height range.

  • Alignment

Allowed offset, edge and gap references, and how much movement or damage is acceptable after placing and transfer.

  • Faults

What happens on vacuum loss, a glass fed the wrong way, a rejected pane or a half-closed module.
