ICB lead bending

SC-Solar describes the contact as flexible but gives no damage limit. Your lead geometry and whether tape, cloth and barcode functions are included belong in the purchase order.

Forming leads that are already soldered
Cameras recognise, guide and inspect each step of the bend. The station can then add high-temperature tape or cloth and label the backsheet with a barcode. Three leads are formed together using flexible contact. SC-Solar lists no lead width, thickness or material, no bend radius or angle and no position tolerance; ask for these with the quotation.
The leads are already joined to the circuit when they are bent, so check the joints and cells as well as the shape. Flexible contact is a design feature; damage limits must be agreed and tested. Tape placement and barcode labels need their own drawings and records, and the vision system supplies no insulation measurement or MES link on its own.

Include format changes, half-formed modules, line stops and safe restart in the counted output and handover records.

How gentle is the flexible contact?
There is no published damage rate. Set a limit with SC-Solar and inspect at the trial.

SC-Solar describes none. Write the barcode data hand-off into the contract and prove it during commissioning.
