Company scope
What the company makes
Zhejiang Jingsheng Mechanical & Electrical makes equipment and materials for silicon, sapphire and silicon carbide. It was founded in 2006 and listed in 2012. For solar buyers, its catalogue runs from crystal growth through ingot processing, slicing and wafer cleaning to final sorting.
That is a much wider scope than a single wire saw. Cell and module machines also appear in the catalogue. Handle them as separate purchases with their own process documents, apart from any wafer-factory contract.

Start with the actual equipment
The entries below cover selected products and series from this manufacturer. Ask for the full catalogue if your project needs other models.
Crystal wafer slicing equipment →
Jingsheng's crystal slicing machines cut photovoltaic silicon, semiconductor silicon and sapphire, with a published range of four to twelve inches. Each configuration is set up for particular materials and sizes. Send your ingot geometry, wafer thickness and loading route, and ask Jingsheng… [2]

Crystal to wafer: who owns each handoff
Grow and shape the ingot
Jingsheng lists crystal growers, cropping machines that take samples and cut off heads and tails, squaring machines and grinders. Squaring switches size automatically, and the grinders handle both rounding and chamfering. Each step uses its own tooling and hands the ingot on under its own conditions. Set the incoming ingot geometry, the material loss you accept and the loading interface of the next machine before you size an integrated upstream line. [2]
Slice, debond and clean
Jingsheng's slicing range covers PV silicon, semiconductor silicon and sapphire, with precision processing from four to twelve inches. Because that range spans all three materials, ask for a PV model sheet with wafer formats and saw throughput. The debonding, wafer insertion and cleaning stage automates the path from slicing to inspection. Request a model document for wafer size, thickness, wire setup and basket transfer, and judge the trial on usable wafers after cleaning. [2]
Sort and pack
The sorting and packing stage uses AI to help sort wafers, then bags and boxes them automatically. Defect classes, reference samples and box layout are set per order, so tie them to your grading rules and shipping method. For a full-factory enquiry, also ask who integrates material tracking, buffers and transport between machines. [2]
Separate technology enquiries
Newer cell and module branches
Deposition and edge passivation
At SNEC in June 2024, Jingsheng presented TOPCon and BC cell equipment covering tube PECVD, LPCVD, diffusion, annealing, ALD and dry boat cleaning. The catalogue separately lists edge-passivation machines that apply atomic-layer deposition to cut cell edges. These tools sit at different points in the cell process. Quote each one against your own cell architecture and ask for a process trial of the recipe. [2][4]
Modules and group supply
The catalogue includes shingled-module equipment, and Jingsheng also promotes full-chain factory integration. Its 2025 annual report describes a wider business spanning equipment and consumables. Ask which group company supplies each machine and whether automation, process consumables and precision parts sit inside the quoted project. [2][3]
Project fit
Match the offering to your project
Jingsheng fits a buyer planning several linked upstream wafer steps or a complete wafer plant. Break it down by machine, by material flow between stations and by how wafers are graded. For cell deposition or shingled-module tools, run a separate model and process comparison, since those are newer lines for the company.
Confirm before ordering
- The current version of each equipment description, since the details shown here come from the September 2026 catalogue copy.
- The selected wire-saw model, its wire recipe, saleable-wafer yield and how full-factory capacity will be accepted.
- Current model documents, the contracting entity and a process trial for any cell or module machine.
Jingsheng gives its slicing range for silicon and sapphire together; ask for PV-specific figures and write factory output into the contract.

Continue to sourcing requestBuyer questions
Does the four-to-twelve-inch range apply to PV wafers?
Jingsheng gives that range for PV silicon, semiconductor silicon and sapphire together. Ask for the dimensional specification of the PV model you choose. [2]
Is edge passivation a whole-wafer coating step?
No. Jingsheng applies ALD to the cut edges of cells. Quote it as its own process. [2]
How do I compare crystal-growth and slicing offers?
Put the grower and the slicing station on separate scope schedules. For growth, state ingot geometry and material route. For slicing, state the input material, wafer thickness and accepted output. Assign handling and consumables to each station so the upstream range is priced machine by machine.
