Crystal wafer slicing equipment
Zhejiang Jingsheng Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. ↗Jingsheng's slicing family handles PV silicon, semiconductor silicon and sapphire. Each machine is configured for its own material and size window. Start from your ingot and the wafer quality your cell line needs. The ingot reaching the saw comes from crystal growth and ingot grinding steps, so share those dimensions with Jingsheng.

Start with your material
Photovoltaic silicon
Send the ingot geometry, the wafer size and thickness you want, and the quality checks your solar-cell line applies to incoming wafers.
Semiconductor silicon and sapphire
Jingsheng also slices these materials. Ask it to confirm that the offered configuration is the one set up for PV silicon.

Run a trial on your own material
Name the machine
Check that the model and configuration drawings fit the workpiece and wafer requirements you sent.
Cut representative ingots
Agree the input, recipe and consumables, and keep a record of the setup and material used.
Count good wafers
List dimensional and quality rejects apart from breakage, and state how samples were taken.
Look at the whole job
Include loading, cutting, unloading, maintenance and changeover when you discuss output.

What to put in a slicing enquiry
Ingot details
Attach ingot drawings and state the material and its condition.
Wafer output
Give the thickness, usable dimensions, quality checks and accepted output you need.
Machine and consumables
Ask for the model, wire layout, consumables list and written compatibility with your material. Cutting wire and cutting fluid are running costs, so ask for their consumption per cut.
Trial and handover
Request sample results, the full job scope and a map of who loads and unloads.
