Run the full job from cell to string
Cut your cell
Use your own cells and cut geometry, and log handling damage through cutting and transfer.
Solder your interconnection
Agree the ribbon and string drawing, and decide in advance which joint-quality checks count. Speed alone says little about the joints.
Change recipes
If you run several products, have the tooling, settings and material change shown, finishing when the first good string comes off.
Count accepted strings
Log first-pass output, rejects and stops next to Autowell's strip rating, and compare the two.

Thin-cell handling and the full installation
Thinner cells ride on a Teflon conveyor, and cutting and stringing happen together so there are fewer transfers. The breakage rate for your exact thickness and incoming cell condition comes from a trial. Send representative cells and agree where damage will be inspected.
Look at the whole installation as well as the machine. Clarify how cells arrive, how finished strings are unloaded, any optional inspection, utilities and where the chosen 0BB upgrade starts and stops. A cheaper offer that leaves these tasks out may not meet the same factory need as a fuller one. Finished strings move on to layup next, so agree the string handover with whoever supplies that station.
