HORAD EVA/EPE patch insertion station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗The machine cuts small film patches from a roll and lays them into the module stack. In the same pass it prints internal busbar barcodes and uses a camera to pick and place each label.
HORAD's original patch-insertion machine. The page names EVA and EPE but gives no patch size range, no exact EPE build and no placement tolerance or label read rate.
General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Pick this station if your module design needs small film patches and internal serial labels added automatically. With your patch and label drawings in hand, request written figures for the films it accepts, the placement tolerance and the cycle for your patch count.

01 · Manufacturer information
Two jobs in one station
HORAD describes fast cutting and feeding of small material pieces, plus pasting internal busbar barcodes. A servo straightens the glass, and a camera guides label pick-up and placement. Cutting, feeding and barcode printing run in step with each other.
The machine name covers EVA and EPE, but HORAD gives no layer build or list of qualified films. If you use a particular EPE stack or POE, send a sample roll and ask HORAD to run it. Also spell out what the barcode step must do: print, place, read back, or all three. Internal labels added here should match the record started at HORAD's glass labeling station, if your line uses one.

Define the patch and the label
Patch material and shape
Send film grade and layer build, thickness, cut shape, roll size and how much the film may stretch. Ask HORAD for its patch size range and cutting tolerance. For full-size sheets rather than patches, HORAD offers separate EVA cutting and placing stations.
Patch position
Give reference points, allowed offset and coverage on your module stack. Agree what the camera checks before and after placing and what it misses. Patches go into the stack during layup, so check their positions against your string layout drawing.
Internal barcode
Specify the code content, label stock, label position and how it ties to the module serial. Agree what happens with duplicate, unreadable or wrong labels.

Trial patches and labels as separate tests
Fix drawings and formats
Lock the patch drawing, film, label specification and module sizes.
Measure cut and placed patches
Measure patches across several rolls and film conditions. Look for wrinkles, skew, missing pieces and disturbed layers.
Feed it bad labels
Run good, missing, damaged and mismatched labels. Check the module link and that rejects are handled as agreed.
Time the full sequence
Run your real patch count, printing and transfer for a long shift. Let material run out, restart, then write the agreed cycle and utilization basis into the contract.

Buyer questions on patch insertion
Will it handle our EPE film?
HORAD gives no film list. Send your exact build and ask for a trial run.
Is 12 seconds the cycle for any pattern?
HORAD calls it the fastest cycle and gives no patch count. Ask for the cycle with your own pattern.
Does the camera check the barcode data?
The page describes camera-guided label pick-up. Ask how codes are read and matched, and test it with wrong labels.
How big can the patches be?
The table only gives module size. Ask HORAD for a patch drawing and size range.
