HORAD ICB lead-straightening station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗HORAD's lead-straightening station undoes the protection put on at the bending step. Three mechanisms pull off tape or high-temperature cloth together, the leads are aligned, and shaping starts. An optional heater with live temperature display helps where site conditions call for it.
You buy either the tape-peeling or the cloth-peeling version. HORAD publishes no peel force, finished lead tolerance, cycle time or proven heating recipe, and the tape or cloth must match the size the chosen version expects.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Tell HORAD how the leads and their protection arrive, pick tape or cloth tooling, and test peeling and final lead shape, keeping any heat inside your approved module process.

Peel, align, then shape the leads
The station comes in a tape-peeling or a cloth-peeling version; you choose one. Three mechanisms strip the protection off at once, the leads are aligned, and the shaping tools go to work. Servo correction, board-type changeover and simultaneous loading and unloading are listed too. Once shaped, the leads go on to HORAD's junction-box mounting station, where the box has to drop over them without forcing.
A heating module runs from 0 to 400°C with a live display. HORAD says whether to switch it on depends on conditions at your site. Treat 400°C as the top of the dial. Ask HORAD what temperature the lead itself reaches, for how long, how even the heat is, and what your cells, films and solder joints can take.

What goes in and what must come out
Arriving protection and leads
Name the tape or cloth, the tab size and its heat history, plus lead material, section and starting shape. Confirm which peeling version you are buying.
Finished lead shape
Give the final position, angle, radius and allowed springback, and how the leads meet the junction box. Ask which tools are included and how the shape is measured.
Heat limits
Decide with your process team whether heat is needed at all. If it is, ask for the sensor, its calibration and recorded recipe limits.

Trial steps for peeling and shaping
Check what arrives
Compare the real tape fold or cloth size and the way leads are presented with the version ordered and the drawings.
Watch peeling and alignment
Look for leftover tape or cloth, bent leads and harm to the module nearby. Feed a missing tab, a half-peeled piece and an odd input.
Measure the leads
Measure position and shape against your limits and check the joints and module. Servo correction alone gives you no output tolerance.
Try heat and recovery
If heating is on, log the setpoint and the real temperatures. Trigger alarms and stops, check the restart, and keep safe manual-recovery instructions on file.

Lead-straightening questions
Should I run the heater at 400°C?
That is the top setting. Use the temperature your own module process allows, if any.
Can one machine peel both tape and cloth?
HORAD offers one version or the other. Put your choice in the order.
Is there a finished lead tolerance?
HORAD publishes none. Write your own limit into the order and measure against it.
