HORAD ICB lead-bending station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗HORAD's ICB lead-bending station folds the three lead wires of a module in one pass. A servo stage aligns the glass, a camera looks at the module before and after, and the station then adds high-temperature cloth or tape plus a barcode label. HORAD quotes 12 seconds for the three-lead operation.
Two choices shape the machine you receive: cloth or tape, and barcode transfer or print-and-apply. Each is one-of-two, so state both in the enquiry. HORAD publishes no weight, bend angle, bend radius or barcode read rate for this station.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Send HORAD your lead drawing, name your protection and barcode options, and ask which cell formats the station truly supports. At the trial, judge the bend, the cloth or tape position and the barcode data one by one.

What happens to the module at this station
The module arrives with its ICB leads standing loose. A servo stage squares the glass, a camera checks the incoming module, and the bending tools form all three leads at the same time. A second camera inspection follows on the way out. HORAD gives 12 seconds for this three-lead step.
In the same station the module gets either high-temperature cloth or tape, and either a transferred barcode or one printed and stuck on. HORAD claims at least 99.5% yield for tape and barcode pasting, a fragment rate of 0.04% or lower and utilization above 99%. Vision accuracy is listed as ≤±0.1 mm. Ask HORAD how many modules and which materials sit behind each of these figures, and how the camera figure relates to the shape of the finished bend.

ICB lead bender specification
| Item | HORAD figure | Ask for your order |
|---|---|---|
| Cell formats | 60 half cells, 172 half cells / MBB half cells | A drawing of each format; 172 is an unusual count, so ask if 72 was meant. |
| Cycle | 12 seconds, three leads at once | Where timing starts and stops, with your options fitted. |
| Protection | High-temperature cloth or tape | The feed and tooling kit for the one you choose. |
| Barcode | Transfer or print and paste | Where the serial comes from and where the label goes. |
| Cloth refill | Every 4 hours or longer, without stopping | Roll size behind that interval and the refill steps. |
| Panel size | Min 1640 × 992 mm; max 2520 × 1450 mm | Lead positions for each format you run. |
| Supply / power / air | 380 V / 7 kW / 0.5–0.7 MPa | Running load, air flow and air quality. |
| Machine size, L × H × W | 3530 × 1800 × 2200 mm | Space for transport into the hall and for access. |

Three results to specify before quoting
Bent lead shape
Give the lead material and cross-section, how it arrives, the target angle and radius, and the springback you can live with. Ask which tools come with the machine and what counts as cell damage. HORAD lists an ICB lead straightening station as a separate machine; ask where each one sits in your line.
Cloth or tape placement
State grade, size and where each piece must sit. Note how firmly it should stick and how a later station peels it off. Only one protection type ships unless you order otherwise. The cloth or tape must also come through the laminator cleanly before that peel step.
Barcode content
Define serial format, label stock and position, transfer or print, and what happens with a duplicate. A label that sticks well still has to carry the right serial for that module, so test both. Agree the serial source with whoever runs HORAD's glass labeling station upstream, so both labels point to one module record.

How to run the factory trial
Fix the format first
Get HORAD's answer on the 172-half-cell entry, then freeze the module and lead drawings and both option choices.
Measure the bends
Form leads with your own materials and settings and measure the result. Judge camera positioning and finished lead shape as two different numbers.
Check cloth, tape and labels
Look at placement and adhesion, then scan labels against known modules. Feed in a duplicate, a missing and a rejected label on purpose.
Time a full run
Run the 12-second cycle with both chosen options working and watch a cloth refill. Agree how yield, fragment rate and utilization are counted before signing off.

Questions buyers ask about the ICB bender
Do cloth and tape both come as standard?
HORAD offers one or the other. Write the one you want into the order.
Is 172 half cells a typo for 72?
Possibly, but only HORAD can say. Ask for the supported cell formats in writing.
Does ±0.1 mm describe the bent lead?
HORAD gives it as vision accuracy. Request a separate tolerance for the bend angle and lead position.
Does a 99.5% pasting yield mean full traceability?
It covers sticking the label. Reading it and linking it to the right module in your system need their own test.
