HORAD four-sided EVA strip placement station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗This HORAD machine puts EVA strips on all four edges of a module. It places along the long sides, switches to the short sides, and irons each strip with heat right after it goes down. Linear motors, servo drives and vision positioning move the heads.
HORAD says the machine suits all EVA strip materials now on the market, but lists no materials and gives no placement tolerance or cycle figure. Strip material is fed by hand.
General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Name the strip material and the edge pattern you need, then prove feeding, long-to-short switching, ironing and fault recovery on your own modules. Where only short-edge fixing is needed, compare it with HORAD's EVA strip placing station, which hot-stamps the short ends.

01 · Manufacturer information
All four module edges in one station
HORAD describes automatic EVA strip laying on the long and short sides of a module, with heat ironing straight after each strip is placed. One command switches the station between long-side and short-side work. Linear motors and servo drives carry the heads, and vision positioning guides them. It belongs to the layup section of a module line.
HORAD calls the machine suitable for every strip material currently sold, though it names none. Send your own film so HORAD can run it. Material loading is manual: HORAD stresses easy hand feeding, a breakage sensor and an alarm when material runs out, so plan an operator at the reels.

Turning the all-materials claim into a test
Strip material
Send film construction, thickness, strip widths, cut lengths and reel format. Ask HORAD to name the materials it has approved for this machine.
Corners and overlaps
Draw the long-edge and short-edge strips, how they meet or overlap at the corners and where strips must stay out. Ask which tooling and recipe changes each pattern needs.
Ironing and hand feeding
Set heat and contact conditions and list the operator's reel tasks. Agree what happens to the module when a strip breaks or a reel empties. Ironing should leave the strips ready for the laminator rather than partly cured, so share that recipe with HORAD.

Proving long sides, short sides and the switch
Lock the pattern and film
Approve the module and string design, the strip sections and a named list of compatible films.
Measure every edge
Check strip position, corners, overlaps and film condition on each approved format. Write numeric tolerances; a vision system on the spec sheet gives no number by itself.
Time a real changeover
Record every tooling move, recipe change, heat setting and first-piece check from long to short and back. HORAD's one-click description comes with no minutes, so measure them.
Break a strip on purpose
Empty a reel and snap a strip, then watch the alarm, refill, reject handling and restart. Agree safe operator access before a long production run.

Four-sided placer FAQ
Will my EVA film run on it?
HORAD claims broad material coverage without a list. Have HORAD run your actual film construction before you sign.
Does the machine load strip reels by itself?
HORAD describes manual material feeding. Check the configuration in your quotation.
How long does a long-to-short changeover take?
HORAD gives no duration. Time all tooling, recipe and first-piece steps at the trial.
