EQUIPMENT SERIES
NWSS-250 and 250A 25-block polycrystal cropping family
TDG NISSIN ↗A head-and-tail cropper for 25 polycrystalline silicon blocks per load, built in two versions, NWSS-250 and NWSS-250A, which share one data sheet.
Both versions run 0.31–0.33 mm coated diamond wire at up to 900 m/min with 0–80 N tension. They differ in wheel lift, power, size and weight. The sheet lists 156 × 156 × 300 mm blocks, while the product page text says 400 mm.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Pick this family if you crop 25 polysilicon blocks at a time. Fix your incoming block length and end allowance first, then ask TDG NISSIN to quote the 250 and the 250A on the same sample stock, each with its own fixture, lift and site package.

What the NWSS-250 family does
The NWSS-250 crops the head and tail ends from 25 polycrystalline blocks in a single load, using diamond multiwire. TDG NISSIN builds it as the NWSS-250 and the NWSS-250A and prints both columns next to each other on one data sheet. For larger batches, the maker's large-batch polycrystal cropper is the next size up.
The two share wire size, wire speed, tension, water and air figures. The 250 has the longer wheel lift, 450 mm at up to 450 mm/min, and draws 27 kW. The 250A lifts 350 mm at up to 350 mm/min and draws 35 kW. The 250A is also longer, wider and taller, yet the sheet gives it the lower mass, 9000 kg against 10000 kg.
Block length is the point to settle before a quote. The product page text speaks of 400 mm blocks, while both sheet columns list 156 × 156 × 300 mm × 25. The photo shows the family in general, so ask which version it pictures and how fixtures and handling differ between the two.

Ask TDG NISSIN to confirm in writing
Which version
Name NWSS-250 or NWSS-250A in the quotation and request the fixture, lift and material-handling drawing for it. The family photo is a general picture of both.
300 or 400 mm blocks
Have the incoming block length stated on a controlled drawing, together with the end allowance you may take off each block. The blocks usually come from a cast block divided into columns on a batch diamond-wire squarer.
Cut quality
Write down the length you keep, end-face geometry, chip and crack limits and any surface needs for the next process, with how each one is measured.
Weight and floor load
Ask why the larger 250A is listed lighter than the 250, and get foundation and floor-load figures for the version you choose.
Utilities and waste
Get the cooling and filtration, air, power, foundation and unloading scope that comes with that version.

Trial both versions on your own blocks
Fix the configuration
Agree version, block size, wire, fixture and finished-length drawing before any cutting starts.
Check all 25 positions
Measure both cut ends at every position in the load for geometry, chips and cracks.
Time the whole cycle
Count loading, cutting, removing the end pieces and unloading. Record accepted blocks and total silicon loss.
Test faults and service
Simulate a clamp or wire fault, see how half-cut blocks are kept apart from good ones, and check maintenance access in person.

Questions buyers ask about the 25-block croppers
Why are the 250 and 250A on one page?
TDG NISSIN lists them as two columns of one data sheet, so they are compared here side by side.
Is the block length 300 mm or 400 mm?
The page text says 400 mm and the sheet says 300 mm for both versions. Get the figure for your order in writing before you sign.
Does the 27 kW version use less energy per good block?
The sheet lists connected power only. Request a measured consumption figure over a full cycle on your stock.
