EQUIPMENT MODEL
NWSS-7S · Seven-block double-end polycrystal cropper
TDG NISSIN ↗The NWSS-7S takes seven cast polycrystalline blocks at once and removes the head and tail of each with coated diamond wire. Two rotating tables let operators load the next batch while the current one is cut.
Covers the NWSS-7S product page and its bilingual sheet for 156 × 156 mm blocks. The machine crops block ends; wafer slicing happens later on other equipment.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Choose the NWSS-7S if your blocks fit the 156 × 156 mm section and a seven-per-cut batch suits your flow. Get double-end cutting and the block fixture written into the quotation, then accept the machine on finished length, kerf and surface results at all seven positions with loading included.

How the NWSS-7S crops seven blocks per cycle
TDG NISSIN describes the NWSS-7S as cutting the head and tail from seven blocks at the same time, each block up to 450 mm long. The machine has two tables that rotate, so the crew prepares the next set of blocks while the wire is cutting and the table swap involves no waiting. Treat this as the intended sequence; the full cycle time on your blocks comes from a trial.
The sheet gives an incoming block of 156 × 156 × (270–450) mm, seven blocks per cut, and a separate finished length of 230–400 mm. The Chinese heading and main text say both ends are cut, while the English heading says single end face. Have the quotation state which applies so your cut plan and the machine match. If your line needs a smaller batch of shorter blocks, TDG NISSIN also builds a six-block cropper on the same two-table principle.

| Item | Listed value | What to settle |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming blocks | 156 × 156 × (270–450) mm; seven per cut | Check that every fixture position fits your blocks. |
| Finished length | 230–400 mm | Shorter than the incoming range; set your end allowance. |
| Coated diamond wire | Diameter 0.37–0.42 mm | Name the coated diameter and wire you will buy. |
| Wire speed / tension | 0–1200 m/min / 0–120 N | Machine range; cycle time comes from a trial. |
| Cooling water | 0.2–0.3 MPa; 70 L/min | Ask for fluid, filter and plant loop needs. |
| Air | 0.6–0.7 MPa; maximum 16 m³/h | Match to your compressed-air supply. |
| Electrical / power | AC 380 V, 50 Hz; 39 kW | Rated machine power; energy per block is measured. |

Does a seven-block batch suit your blocks?
End allowance
Send the incoming size of each block and the length you need to keep. Agree how much head and tail is rejected and whether a sample slice is taken.
Clamping and table swap
Ask for the seven-position clamp drawing and the two-table loading sequence. Plan for blocks of uneven size, fixture cleaning and clearing off-cuts.
Condition after cropping
Set your own limits for flatness, squareness, roughness, cracks and chips, with agreed measuring methods. The sheet gives no acceptance values for these.

Test the two-table claim on your own blocks
Fix the model and scope
Approve the NWSS-7S, double-end cutting, the wire and the fixture drawing, with the English heading corrected in the contract.
Cut representative batches
Measure both end faces and the surface and damage results at every position. Record wire condition and the size spread of the blocks.
Time the whole cycle
Count loading, table rotation, off-cut removal and unloading along with cutting. Report good blocks over a sustained run.
Test fault handling
Watch how the machine handles a broken wire or an abnormal cut, and how half-cut or wrong-length blocks stay traceable.

NWSS-7S buyer questions
Does 1200 m/min mean the blocks are cut at 1200 mm/min?
1200 m/min is how fast the wire runs. The sheet gives a separate wheel lift speed, and the real cutting cycle comes from your trial.
Can it take blocks larger than 156 mm?
The sheet covers the 156 × 156 mm section. For a larger block, ask TDG NISSIN for a fixture drawing and a trial cut in that format. Block faces and corners are finished afterwards on a separate machine, such as the maker's face grinding centre.
What should I ask TDG NISSIN to confirm in writing?
Double-end cutting, the fixture for your block size, current utility figures, availability and the build site. Ask for these in the quotation.
