EQUIPMENT MODEL
NWSS-DH02 · Single-wire monocrystalline ingot cropper
TDG NISSIN ↗The NWSS-DH02 uses a single diamond wire to cut the heads and tails off monocrystalline ingots and to take sample slices for testing. It is small and light next to the multi-ingot croppers, at 12 kW and 2000 kg.
Covers the NWSS-DH02 page and sheet. The text describes 8–12 inch ingots with raw lengths above four metres; the table limits it to a single 6–8.5 inch ingot at four metres.
General illustration of wafer processing equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
The NWSS-DH02 suits low-volume cropping and sampling of single mono ingots. Before choosing it, get a stock drawing from TDG NISSIN that settles diameter and length, then trial cut placement, sample thickness and handling on your own ingot, using this model's figures alone.

01 · Manufacturer information
Two different stock sizes on one sheet
The product page and the sheet text describe single-wire diamond cutting for cropping and for sample wafers, working on 8–12 inch monocrystalline stock with a raw ingot length above four metres. The parameter table on the same sheet lists one 6–8.5 inch ingot of four metres. Both figures come from TDG NISSIN, so ask which one applies to the machine you would receive.
The sheet names the model NWSS-DH02 and gives finished lengths of 100–700 mm. It leaves out sample thickness tolerance, cut-position accuracy, orientation, the feed sequence and how a full-length ingot is supported. Sample cutting here means slices for testing; production wafers are sliced on multi-wire saws.

Cropping and sampling are judged differently
Kept segment
Mark where the head and tail come off and the length and face geometry you keep after each cut. List the surface defects you accept.
Sample slice
Give the sample position, thickness and the surface your test needs. Agree whether sample preparation afterwards is a separate job.
Supporting a long ingot
Ask for the roller, support, feed and clamp arrangement, its load rating and how the ingot moves safely during the cut.

Settle the stock range with a trial
Get a corrected specification
TDG NISSIN states the model, diameter, maximum raw length and support and fixture scope in writing.
Position the ingot
Watch loading, support and positioning at the smallest and largest sizes you plan to run, starting from the table range.
Inspect crops and samples
Measure cut position, kept length and sample dimensions, and inspect surfaces for damage.
Run the full routine
Include repositioning, sample removal, wire changes and fault recovery in the output count. For cutting a long ingot into several segments in one setup, compare the maker's adjustable multiwire cropper.

NWSS-DH02 buyer questions
Will it take a 12-inch ingot?
The text says up to 12 inch, but the table stops at 8.5 inch. Ask for the current configuration and a trial cut at your diameter.
Can it handle ingots longer than four metres?
The text says above four metres and the table says four metres. Get the stock and support limits agreed in the contract.
Can it slice production wafers?
TDG NISSIN lists it for cropping and test samples. It gives no thin-wafer thickness or production slicing figures.
