EQUIPMENT MODEL
NWSS-210 · Three-ingot six-head monocrystalline cropper
TDG NISSIN ↗The NWSS-210 cuts three monocrystalline ingots side by side with diamond multiwire, using six cutting heads. Each ingot can be 2.2 m long, and the sheet offers 6, 6.5, 8 or 8.5 inch diameters. It runs thinner wire than the other TDG NISSIN croppers.
This page covers the three-ingot, six-head cropper from the TDG NISSIN catalogue sheet. The sheet lists stock, wire and utilities; head spacing, segment lengths, sample thickness and output rate come from the quotation.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
The NWSS-210 suits a plant that wants three long ingots cropped in one cycle. Before ordering, ask TDG NISSIN to confirm in writing the head positions for your cut map, the clamps for your diameter and the real cooling supply, then trial segments and samples with positioning and offcut removal counted.

Three ingots, six heads: plan the cut map with the maker
TDG NISSIN presents the NWSS-210 as a diamond multiwire cropper that handles three ingots at once, each 6–8.5 inches across and 2.2 m long. On the parameter table the diameter is given as set choices of 6, 6.5, 8 or 8.5 inches. Treat those four sizes as the catalogue options and name yours in the enquiry.
The model name promises six heads, but the sheet has no head spacing and no segment lengths. Ask whether each head can be moved on its own and how many finished pieces each ingot yields. A fixture drawing and a trial cut should show which pieces you keep and which go to scrap.

What to send TDG NISSIN with the enquiry
Cut plan per ingot
Give head and tail allowances, the segment lengths you keep and any sample slices for each incoming ingot. Ask for head positions, travel and fixture drawings in return. For one ingot at a time with sample slices, the maker's single-wire cropper is the lighter option.
Ingot condition and limits
State the spread in diameter and length, crystal condition, and the face geometry, chip, crack and surface limits your next process accepts.
Wire setup
Agree the coated diameter, wire recipe, handling and change routine. Spool length says nothing about kerf or wire life, so ask for those figures.
Cooling supply
Check the printed 400 L/min at 0.2–0.3 MPa against the real circuit, water temperature, filtration and what your plant can deliver.

Trial cut across all three ingot positions
Fix heads and clamps
Lock in the cut positions, the clamps for your diameter and the utility package.
Cut typical ingots
Note ingot and wire conditions, measure every segment and sample, and compare surface and damage from one position to the next.
Time the whole batch
Count positioning, offcut removal and unloading, and report good segments per cycle. The cropped segments then go to a squarer, such as the maker's two-station squarer for round mono segments.
Check loss and recovery
Record kerf and rejects, then have the supplier show a wire break and restart while each part-cut ingot stays identified.

NWSS-210 questions buyers ask
Will six heads give six finished pieces from each ingot?
The sheet has no head spacing or output map. Agree the cut plan with TDG NISSIN and count the pieces on trial.
Could the cooling need be closer to a smaller model's figure?
The NWSS-210 sheet prints 400 L/min. Plan on that number until the current utility package says otherwise.
Does thinner wire mean less silicon lost?
TDG NISSIN publishes no kerf or damage trial. Measure lost and rejected material under the process you choose.
