NWSS-JK4700 · Combined monocrystalline cropping and squaring machine
TDG NISSIN ↗The NWSS-JK4700 puts monocrystalline cropping and squaring on one frame. TDG NISSIN says the two operations can run together. The machine supports a single 4 m ingot of 8–9 inch diameter and machines segments of 150–700 mm.
This page covers the combined machine as shown in the TDG NISSIN sheet. Timing between the two operations, final square size, routing drawings and line output are items to request in the quotation.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
The NWSS-JK4700 makes sense when you want cropping and squaring in one cell instead of two stations. Before ordering, ask TDG NISSIN to confirm in writing the segment cut plan and square drawing together, then watch the two operations overlap on trial with every piece tracked and measured.

One machine, two operations: map the material flow
TDG NISSIN calls the JK4700 a photovoltaic monocrystalline cropping and squaring machine and says the two steps can happen at the same time. The table lists one 8–9 inch ingot of four metres and processing lengths of 150–700 mm. The long figure is the stock the machine supports; the short range is the segment under the wire.
No timing chart comes with the sheet, so ask how the overlap works and whether one section is cropped while another is squared. Finished square side and the full automatic loading scope are also missing. Request a material-route drawing that shows kept and scrap pieces, plus an overlap demonstration on your configuration.

Combined machine or two separate stations?
Material path
State ingot length spread, head and tail allowances, the segments you keep and the square orientation you need. Mark every transfer and every scrap piece.
How the two jobs overlap
Ask for a timing sequence and the limits on running both at once. Clarify who handles wire, fixtures and operator tasks. If you keep the two steps apart, the maker's adjustable multiwire cropper and two-station squarer cover the same work as separate stations.
Finished geometry
Set segment length, square section, face angle and surface and damage limits, with agreed ways of measuring them.
Stoppages and service
Ask how a cropping fault affects squaring and how half-finished stock stays labelled. Check service access and restart steps for both processes.

Trial the full crop-to-square run
Set stock and fixtures
Agree ingot supports, crop positions, square size and each transfer.
Check each step on its own
Measure segment length, then square geometry and damage, before judging combined output. Squared bars usually pass next to a face grinding centre for faces and corners.
Time the overlap
Log how long the simultaneous work takes with feeding, scrap pieces and unloading counted.
Interrupt the run
Trigger clamp, wire and transfer faults and see which pieces are recut or scrapped. Report good squares over a sustained run.

NWSS-JK4700 questions buyers ask
Is this a complete wafer line?
No. It covers ingot cropping and squaring; slicing, cleaning and inspection are separate equipment.
Are the finished segments four metres long?
No. Four metres is the incoming ingot; processed segments are 150–700 mm.
Has the simultaneous operation been timed?
TDG NISSIN describes it but publishes no timing or output trial. Ask to see it run on your stock.
