EQUIPMENT MODEL
NWSS-DS700Z · Two-station monocrystalline ingot squarer
TDG NISSIN ↗The NWSS-DS700Z turns round monocrystalline segments into square bars, two at a time. Grippers load and centre each segment, an instrument finds the crystal edge, and a built-in mechanism carries the cut-off sides away.
Covers the two-position configuration on the NWSS-DS700Z page and sheet, for segments 150–900 mm long and 200–250 mm in diameter. Square size, tolerance and yield are set in your order.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
The NWSS-DS700Z fits plants squaring 200–250 mm mono segments that want loading and side removal automated. Start with your square cross-section and crystal orientation, then accept both stations, side-piece removal and downstream handling at your planned load.

What the two stations do
TDG NISSIN describes the machine as squaring two monocrystalline ingots at the same time with diamond wire. Grippers handle loading and unloading, the machine detects the ingot edge, centres each piece automatically and has an internal mechanism that collects the cut-off side material. The sheet names the model NWSS-DS700Z and lists two segments per cut.
In the table, centring is done by mechanical grippers, edge searching by a measuring instrument and side removal mechanically. Those functions place and clear the ingot. The final square size, the accuracy of the crystal orientation, the value of the side pieces and the allowed chipping all depend on your workpiece drawing and how you measure it. For one segment per cut with fewer automatic functions, TDG NISSIN offers the single-position NWSS-DD700Z.

What to send with your squarer enquiry
Segment and square drawings
Spread of diameters and lengths, incoming condition, final side dimensions, face angle tolerance and corner or chamfer needs. Segments usually arrive from a multiwire cropper that has already taken off heads and tails.
Orientation and measurement
What reference the edge search must find, the error you allow and how you will check the result on your own gauges.
Handling and side pieces
Gripper and loading interfaces, how much of the side removal is automatic and how side pieces are kept apart from the square bars without damage.
Site and upkeep
Access around a 4250 mm tall machine, the foundation, cooling loop, wire changes and your utilities. Ask for a layout drawing with service clearances.

Accept both stations on real segments
Freeze drawings and fixtures
Agree incoming and final drawings, the edge reference, wire and clamping limits.
Measure the square bars
Check size and geometry at set points along each bar from both positions. Inspect for chips and cracks and the surface you specified. Face grinding and chamfering of the square bars then follow on a separate grinding centre.
Run the automation
Watch centring, edge detection, side removal and unloading on segments at both ends of your size range.
Count good output
Time full loading and cutting cycles and the recovery from a detection, clamp or wire fault. Report rejects with the output.

NWSS-DS700Z buyer questions
Does two per cut mean twice the output of a single-station squarer?
TDG NISSIN publishes no cycle or yield figure. Measure loading, cutting and side removal together to find the real rate.
Is 1800 m/min the squaring rate?
It is the wire running speed. The sheet lists cutting speed separately at 0–80 mm/min, and your output comes from a timed trial.
What should I get TDG NISSIN to put in writing?
The final square size and tolerance it will hold, orientation accuracy, the automation scope, current utility figures and the build site.
