HORAD butyl-rubber dispensing station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗This HORAD station runs a butyl sealing bead around PV module glass. It quotes width, thickness and corner thickness as three separate tolerances, so each one needs its own measurement method in your order.
HORAD describes its own fluid-control system and infeed and outfeed detection. It lists no approved butyl grades, no operating temperature, no nominal bead section and no power or air figures.
General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Send your butyl grade and glass, draw the bead and the corners, and prove all three tolerances at the cycle you need.

Published specifications
Values below are published by the manufacturer, each with the date its source was checked. Ask for the figures that apply to your configuration and material in the quotation.
The manufacturer has not published a complete specification table for this entry. Request the exact offered drawing and operating limits.
01 · Manufacturer information
Sealing bead, glass and butyl grade
HORAD's station coats butyl automatically, using a fluid-control system HORAD developed itself. Sensors at infeed and outfeed feed a closed monitoring loop. HORAD says it handles many glass types and butyl brands, but names none and gives no trial conditions. Rear glass goes on after the bead, and HORAD builds a back glass placing station for that step.
The table splits the bead into three results: width, thickness and corner thickness. Agree the nominal bead size, the corner profile you accept, the butyl properties and the gauge or method for each before you hold the machine to a tolerance.

Butyl station specification
| Item | HORAD figure | Agree how it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Panel dimensions, L / W / H | 1650–2550 / 990–1450 / 1.2–3.5 mm | Ask what H means for your glass or module build. |
| Docking height | 950 ±30 mm | Conveyor height at the transfer points. |
| Cycle time | ≤12 seconds | Format, bead route and where timing starts and stops. |
| Glue width accuracy | ±0.5 mm | Nominal width and gauge method. |
| Glue thickness accuracy | ±0.15 mm | Nominal thickness and measuring points. |
| Corner thickness accuracy | ±0.5 mm | Corner shape, datum and inspection method. |

What to send with the butyl enquiry
Butyl grade and handling
Name the maker, exact grade, current data sheet, pack size and storage or warm-up rules. Ask HORAD for the dispensing window it sets for that grade.
Glass and bead drawing
Show glass build, surface condition, bead path, start and stop points and corner shape. State whether gaps in the bead or contamination are acceptable. Bead height also has to suit the pressure and heat of your laminator, so share that recipe when you draw the corners.
Sensors and records
Ask what the infeed and outfeed sensors detect and how width, thickness and corners get measured. Find out whether the closed loop gauges every bead or only checks presence.

Proving straight runs and corners
Lock glass, grade and path
Approve the glass format, the butyl grade and a controlled bead drawing that covers corners, starts and stops. The station is part of module assembly, so take the glass format from the same drawing your layup stations use.
Gauge all three tolerances
Measure width and thickness on straight runs and thickness at the corners as separate checks. Note butyl condition and machine settings for each sample.
Time the cycle
Run the approved path and format with normal loading and unloading. Agree what counts as one cycle and how long output must hold; 12 seconds is a station figure, not line takt.
Interrupt the supply
Watch refilling, a flow break, the alarms and the first beads after restart. File approved samples, recipes, gauge records and grade-change rules.

Butyl dispensing FAQ
Is ±0.5 mm the only bead tolerance?
HORAD also gives ±0.15 mm on thickness and a separate ±0.5 mm on corner thickness.
Will any butyl brand run on it?
HORAD claims broad brand coverage but lists no grades. Have your exact butyl run at the trial.
Does the closed loop measure every bead dimension?
HORAD describes detection at infeed and outfeed, not full dimensional gauging. Ask what is measured and how.
Can I use power and heating figures from other HORAD stations?
This table has none of its own. Ask HORAD for the utility and heating data for this station.
