HORAD lead-wire adhesive laser-cleaning station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗Leftover adhesive on a lead wire gets in the way of the joint that follows. This HORAD station clears it from both faces of the lead with a laser head that moves vertically and horizontally, while a lowered baffle shields the surrounding area and an extractor takes the fumes away.
HORAD publishes the cleaning sequence, panel format, utilities, footprint and weight for this station family. Laser wavelength, optical output, safety class, residue limit and coating-damage data are missing from the page, so put them on your enquiry list. The station belongs to the back end of module assembly, after the laminate leaves the press.
General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
A sensible buy if adhesive residue on leads is slowing your next joining step. Tell HORAD which adhesive and lead coating you run, ask for the laser and enclosure details, then judge the trial on two results: a clean surface and a sound joint downstream.

Published specifications
Values below are published by the manufacturer, each with the date its source was checked. Ask for the figures that apply to your configuration and material in the quotation.
The manufacturer has not published a complete specification table for this entry. Request the exact offered drawing and operating limits.

How the station clears a lead
Modules arrive on a conveyor. A baffle comes down to screen the area around the lead wires, and the laser head then travels vertically and horizontally to burn off adhesive left on either side of each lead. Servo alignment keeps the head on target, and stored templates let you switch between module types. An extractor collects the fumes produced during removal.
HORAD calls the result excellent and free of residue. The page gives no residue limit or surface-damage figure to go with that, and no laser settings that would carry over to your adhesive. What matters on your line is that the adhesive comes off while the lead keeps the shape, metal and coating the next operation needs. Clean leads matter most at the junction box, where each one has to lie on its terminal before it is soldered.

Cleaner data and what to settle
| Entry | Published value | What to settle for your order |
|---|---|---|
| Panel size range | 1650 × 990–2500 × 1400 mm | Which paired formats and lead positions your modules use. |
| Supply / station power | 380 V / 9 kW | This is the machine load; ask separately for laser optical output. |
| Air pressure | 0.6–0.8 MPa | Required flow, air quality and which functions use it. |
| Machine size, L × H × W | 3450 × 2200 × 2200 mm | Extra room for extraction ducting and service access. |
| Weight | 2.5 T | Floor loading and transport plan. |

Three things to send with the enquiry
Material and target surface
Name the adhesive and how it was applied, plus the lead alloy, size and coating. State how much residue, coating loss, discoloration or distortion is acceptable, and name the measuring method.
Laser enclosure and extraction
Ask HORAD for the actual laser specification, the enclosure and interlock design, and the extraction and filtration your site must supply. The baffle and extractor are one part of that package, and you need the full set before installation.
The joint that follows
Name the solder or weld step that uses the cleaned lead and the joint tests you apply. A lead that looks clean still has to make a good electrical and mechanical joint.

Running a trial on your leads
Pick representative samples
Agree lead, coating and adhesive samples that cover your real process history and the worst residue you see.
Check both faces
Run one controlled recipe, inspect leftover adhesive and the lead and coating condition by the agreed method, and log the settings used.
Join the cleaned leads
Put accepted samples through your own downstream joining process and compare electrical and mechanical results against reference joints.
Test guarding and faults
Check the delivered enclosure, interlocks and extraction against the approved design. Then provoke a misaligned lead, a stopped clean and a restart, and watch how rejects are handled before you sign off on sustained running.

Questions buyers ask about this cleaner
Is the laser itself 9 kW?
No. HORAD lists 9 kW as the power of the whole machine. Laser optical output is missing from the page, so ask for it in writing.
Does a residue-free finish mean the lead is ready to join?
Only a joint test answers that. Agree one criterion for cleaning and a second one for the finished joint.
Is the baffle the whole laser-safety package?
The page names a baffle and an extractor but gives no containment class, interlock list or site requirements. Ask HORAD to confirm the engineered safety package in writing with the quote.
