TCDY-DJ1 family · Stacked single-chamber laminator

Yiheng Technology ↗

Two laminating levels sit one above the other, and each one laminates and cures the module in a single chamber. The upper and lower levels transport independently, so one level can load while the other presses.

Yiheng's product page and its parameter sheet give four TCDY-DJ1 rows with sizes, power and weight. The catalogue also cites an invention patent and a 100 MW yearly output.

General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK

Pick the working length and the J3 or J4 build first. Then agree the combined laminate-and-cure cycle with Yiheng and run your own stack on both levels, counting loading, cleaning and restarts in the output.

Two levels, one chamber each

Yiheng builds this laminator as a two-level stack. On each level the module is laminated and cured in the same chamber, with no separate cure or water-cooling station after it. Upper and lower transport run on their own drives, and the machine has automatic cleaning and PLC operation. If you are comparing it with Yiheng's two- or three-chamber lines, keep that difference in mind: the stacked unit has no dedicated curing chamber to borrow figures from. For a separate curing step on two levels, look at Yiheng's two-level two-chamber laminator; for water cooling as well, its two-level three-chamber laminator.

The catalogue cites an invention patent number and a 100 MW annual output. The sheet has four rows with different working lengths and either a J3 or a J4 suffix. Ask Yiheng what the suffix changes in the delivered machine, and what module, calendar and yield sit behind the 100 MW figure.

What to send with a stacked-laminator enquiry

  • Your module and load

Give the glass and encapsulant stack, module size, how many modules go in per level and how they are supported. State the cure, adhesion and damage limits you will accept.

  • Timing of the shared chamber

Ask Yiheng for a timing diagram showing when pumping down, heating, pressing, curing and unloading happen inside the one chamber.

  • J3 versus J4

Get the hardware difference between the suffixes in writing, plus the cleaning and transfer equipment included and the installed and service footprint.

  • Test data and patent status

Request loaded test results and confirmation that the model is still offered. If the patent matters to you, ask for a current legal-status record from the patent office.

Acceptance test across both levels

  1. Lock the build

Agree the model, carrier, material stack and where the process and transport scope starts and stops.

  2. Map temperature under load

Measure positions on the upper and the lower level. Controller accuracy and the temperature your laminate actually sees are separate numbers.

  3. Check the finished modules

Test cure, adhesion, voids and cell cracks over repeated loads from both levels.

  4. Count real output

Log good modules and energy over full runs, including unloading, cleaning and what happens when one level faults while the other keeps working.

Buyer questions on the TCDY-DJ1

Does it have a separate curing chamber?

No. Yiheng describes lamination and curing happening together in one chamber on each level.

Is the patent still in force?

The catalogue gives only the patent number. Ask Yiheng to supply a current legal-status record with the quotation.

Will I get 100 MW a year with today's modules?

Yiheng does not state the module wattage, shift calendar, recipe or yield behind that figure. Ask for them and size the line on your own cycle.
