Test results are only useful if they reach the right module record. Agree data formats, barcode reading and MES links as set out in the traceability guide, and plan acceptance with the FAT and SAT guide. Upstream, the laminator and framing steps determine what the inspection must catch.
Plan the equipment scope
Start with the decision that the inspection result must support. State the device format, test position and the acceptance criteria used by your factory. Ask for the calibration or reference-sample procedure relevant to the selected system, together with repeatability and data interfaces. Agree a trial on your own production material. Where the directory has no matching listing, broaden the search or prepare a sourcing brief instead of treating the empty category as a supplier recommendation.
HORAD's verification station reads three identities on each module: the front barcode, the frame code and the nameplate. Scanners read the codes and a camera looks for a missing nameplate, print defects and labels set off position. It is light at 0.5 kW and 0.3 T. Bring code formats, matching rules and defect samples so the reject criteria are fixed before shipment.
This HORAD station runs automatic DC withstand-voltage, insulation-resistance and ground-resistance tests on finished modules and sounds a light and buzzer alarm when one fails. Grounding is by four corners or, for frameless panels, foam on all four sides. HORAD titles it Testing Jig Return System. Machine power is 4 kW; test voltages, limits, dwell times and accuracy come with your test plan.
This HORAD station checks the soldered lead wires inside a module junction box. A camera finds each lead and its weld, then a probe pushes on the lead while a pressure sensor reads the force, and software flags weak or thin joints and saves the data. HORAD lists 380 V / 8 kW, 2 T and module sizes from 1650 × 990 to 2500 × 1400 mm. Ask for the test force, pass limit and sensor calibration.
The Edeson ETH-1000LA is a temperature and humidity test chamber for PV specimens, components and materials. Its catalogue table covers seven ETH sizes, with a 1000 mm cube inner box on the largest, and five temperature options reaching down to −70 °C. Send your sample, fixture and test sequence so Edeson can quote the right size and option.
