HORAD AB junction-box potting station
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗Once the junction boxes are mounted, this station fills them with mixed two-part potting compound. It doses A and B through screw pumps, blends them and moves the nozzle from box to box on servo-driven belts.
HORAD lists the supply, metering and mixing hardware, the three-box application, panel sizes, utilities, footprint and weight. The mix ratio, shot accuracy, any vacuum degassing, cycle time and cure conditions are absent from the page, so they belong in your specification.
General illustration of module assembly equipment, not a photograph of this model. Ask the manufacturer for current photographs and layout drawings of the configuration offered.
START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Fits a line that pots three-box modules and wants to stop hand mixing. Send HORAD the exact A and B grades and box drawings, agree the ratio and fill target, then check mixed output, cavity coverage and cure on your own compound.

01 · Manufacturer information
From two components to three filled boxes
HORAD says the station mixes adhesive evenly and pours it into the three junction boxes on each module. X/Y motion comes from servo-driven synchronous belts and a Z cylinder lowers the nozzle. A button press or a pulse signal starts each dispense, and both flow and time can be set. Boxes arrive already placed by HORAD's junction-box mounting station, and their lids are snapped on afterwards by its lid-capping station.
The equipment list covers glue supply, an AB screw-pump metering system, a mixer and the controls. The mix ratio, the metering accuracy and whether vacuum degassing is fitted are not stated, so write them into your enquiry. This station fills the inside of the box; fixing the box to the module back is done on a separate HORAD gluing station.

What the quotation must describe
The compound
List the A and B grades with current data sheets, the ratio and whether it is by mass or volume, viscosity at your shop temperature and pot life once mixed. Ask HORAD to confirm in writing that the pumps and mixer suit it.
The filled box
Attach box and component drawings, the target fill weight or level, and how much void or bare area is acceptable. Agree how coverage is checked, because a smooth top surface can hide gaps underneath.
Cure and upkeep
State the compound's cure and handling times, the purge routine after a stop and how mixer elements are replaced. If you need vacuum or air removal, ask for it as a named line item.

Proving the potting process
Fix compound and box
Agree the A and B identity, ratio basis, cavity geometry, fill amount and cure conditions.
Check the mix
Measure delivered ratio and mixed output at the supply conditions you expect, using an agreed method, and log settings and compound condition.
Inspect filled boxes
Weigh or gauge the fill, look at coverage and voids against your limits, then test cured compound after your normal cure.
Run it low and stop it
Let A or B run low and then empty, interrupt a shot and leave mixed compound standing. Agree the alarms, purge, reject and restart check.

Potting questions
Is AB always mixed 1:1?
The page gives no ratio. Use the ratio your compound maker specifies, by mass or volume as stated.
Is vacuum degassing part of the station?
The listed hardware does not mention it. Ask HORAD to quote air-removal equipment separately if your compound needs it.
Does adjustable dispense time mean accurate fill?
No metering or fill figures are published. Set ratio, fill weight and coverage targets and test them.
How long does the compound take to cure?
HORAD lists no cure time. Follow your compound's data sheet and your module process.
