HORAD back-panel junction-box bonding dispenser
Suzhou HORAD New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. ↗Before a junction box can be pressed onto a module, the back panel needs a bead of mounting adhesive in the right place. HORAD's dispenser does this inline, tracing a set path for each of three box positions and letting you trigger shots by button or pulse with adjustable flow and time.
HORAD's page covers the dispensing sequence, panel range, utilities, footprint and weight. Adhesive type, one- or two-component supply, mixing needs, bead size and measured dispensing accuracy are left out; collect them during quotation.

START WITH YOUR PRODUCTION TASK
Worth considering if you want box adhesive applied automatically on the line. Send HORAD the adhesive grade and the three box footprints, then judge the trial on bead geometry, open time and how well the boxes seat, kept apart from any potting tests.

What this station puts on the module
HORAD describes online application of adhesive to the back panel along a defined path for the three junction boxes that will be installed next. Dispensing starts from a button or a pulse signal, and both flow and time can be adjusted. The valve is placed by X and Y servo axes, with a cylinder for the Z stroke.
The listed subsystems are adhesive supply, a unit HORAD calls a voltage stabilizer, the dispensing valves and the controls. The page leaves open whether the supply handles a one-part or a mixed two-part adhesive. This machine bonds the box to the module. The AB filling inside the box happens on HORAD's separate potting station.

Define the bead and the seating step
Your adhesive
Give the maker and grade, the current data sheet, the packaging, viscosity conditions and any mixing needs. Ask whether the quoted supply and valve can handle it.
Bond line and back surface
Send box footprints, target bead size or mass, surface condition, allowed gaps and lead keep-outs. The adhesive has to suit your actual backsheet or rear glass.
Open time and seating
State the delay before the box goes on, the seating pressure or contact, and the cure or release conditions from the adhesive's own process. Adjustable flow and time is a starting point; a good bond shows only once the box is seated and cured.

Trial plan for bead and bond
Fix material and pattern
Freeze the three box footprints, the back surface condition and the adhesive supply set-up.
Measure what comes out
Check bead mass, path, continuity and placement across container levels and material temperatures, and log the settings.
Seat real boxes
Mount boxes with your downstream seating step and approved cure, then test the bond. Set these criteria for mounting adhesive on their own, apart from potting or generic cure rules.
Force the faults
Run with an empty supply, a blocked nozzle and a broken path, then restart. Agree purge, reject handling and first-piece checks.

Mounting-adhesive questions
Is this the junction-box potting machine?
No. This station lays adhesive on the module for mounting three boxes. HORAD sells internal AB potting as a separate product.
Can it meter a two-component adhesive?
The page does not say. Tell HORAD your adhesive and ask it to confirm the supply and mixing package in writing.
Does adjustable flow and time give accurate shots?
HORAD publishes no metering or repeatability figure. Write the shot tolerance you need into the order and test it in the trial.
