For solar panel string layup machines, begin your enquiry with glass dimensions, string layout and module template. Request a configuration-specific quotation and agree on positioning tolerance, changeover procedure, broken-cell criteria and bussing interfaces. Each listing shows the published values and the questions to confirm.
HORAD's automatic glass-loading station picks glass sheets by robot, removes the interleaf paper and feeds glass into the module line. An axial-flow fan clears dust and an ion-air rod reduces static. Swinging-angle suction cups help prevent double picks. HORAD lists 380 V / 15 kW, 0.6–0.8 MPa air, a 9450 × 3500 × 2650 mm frame and a weight of 4.2 T.
HORAD's robotic layup machine picks finished cell strings and places them on glass that servo motors and cylinders have squared on four sides. Software switches panel templates and runs AB string layup. The equipment table lists modules from 1650 × 990 to 2500 × 1400 mm, layup accuracy of ±0.4 mm and a rated power of 10 kW.
Exact filters only match published specifications. Listings without that published value are not shown.
Selection guide
Layup places strings into the required module layout and hands the assembly to the next station. Selection is driven by glass dimensions, string spacing, handling and the module template. Ask for placement results with your string design as well as the machine-size range.
Inputs to prepare before shortlisting
Module template
Provide glass size, cell-string arrangement, spacing and positioning references. State which module variants must be accommodated at changeover.
Handling boundary
Define string arrival, glass alignment, reject handling and downstream bussing or transport. Ask who supplies carriers and station modifications.
Changeover and controls
Request the template-management procedure, recipe permissions and interface signals. Identify whether different string layouts need tooling changes.
Make quotations comparable
Compare a complete layup cycle with the same string and glass configuration. Request placement measurement definitions and handling-damage records. A robot cycle or nominal axis speed should not be substituted for completed module output.
Plan the acceptance test
Check agreed placement points on representative assemblies, then test template changeover and interrupted-cycle recovery. Record glass alignment, string condition and handover to the next station. Define the inspection sample and pass criteria before the trial.
Avoid this comparison mistake
Do not interpret electrical power rating as energy per module or a throughput guarantee. Those require measured cycle and operating conditions.
